Was, well OK, check in wasn’t overly impressive, I forgot my wallet and there was a few blank looks over how I would pay the pay the deposit and pet cleaning fee. Bed was very firm and AC couldn’t be set under 20(I like it cold), very dusty behind TV, I had to switch it of and on at the plug to get it going. $80 pet fee I think is a little steep but at least there was a dog bed and bowl in the room.
Location was good ,amenities were average but we weren’t aware that the hotel catered for dogs.
We initially had an issue with a bed mattress, and the follow-up to our first complaint was unsatisfactory. However, after complaining again, the issue was eventually resolved.
Unfortunately our stay was not as we expected.
We always stay at Adabco when in Adelaide. Comfortable, clean rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, and there is a kitchen there if you want to save some money and eat in.
I loved staying here! The hotel is in the city but situated in a quiet area. The beautiful old building features modernized facilities that maintain the charm of a bygone era through aesthetically pleasing decor. The air conditioning works well, as does the hot water system. Rooms are serviced daily, and the staff is professional and unobtrusive. The only downside is the limited free parking near the building on weekdays; however, there is free parking available not too far away
I loved the feel - like an English Country Hotel. I loved the big rooms and well appointed self catering commercial kitchen. The best thing was the location - tucked away out of the noise and bustle but within a short walk of my worksite. Will definitely be back
"I had a very late check-in, as my flight was delayed. The hotel staff sent me very clear instructions for getting my key from an after-hours safe and provided a number to call anytime if I needed assistance. After a very long day, I was glad to be able to get to my room swiftly and without any issues. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and polite."
Good central location. Shopping mall and supermarkets a 15 minute walk as are the botanic gardens.
Room spacious but bed on the short side and shower cabin small.
Upper floors have shared kitchen facilities.
We completely enjoyed our visit and would love to come back again. The staff were friendly, helpful and more than willing to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended.
