Location excellent and good value. Check in reception quick and easy. All staff I came into contact with were professional, friendly and helpful. Only downside was the breakfast offering and my impression was that it was all geared to simplicity for the hotel. I guess I’m not keen on the DIY approach but can understand the reasoning behind it so it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Just thought I’d mention it. Oh, coffee was good. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel ticks all the boxes. Great value too. Really comfortable bed and room. It is in such a great convenient location for all the Best sights of Adelaide. All those beautiful old buildings, the art gallery the museum, the botanic Garden just up the road. Public transport right outside the door, both the tram and the train. And buses.

The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Hassle free. There is a bit of tirdness showing in the decor. But we had a easy time there. Great area to move around from. Trams stop just up street a bit.

very comfortable but noisy lift in the mornings
Room 418 is right at the back of the hotel and adjacent to the service lift which is very noisy from 8am onwards and having had an hospital procedure it was an early wake up

Friendly & welcoming staff, from reception to breakfast dining as well as housekeeping. Close proximity to transport, dinings, botanical garden, art galleries& museum. The only thing is it’s dated. We were only there to sleep as had things planned during days.. The owners need to really look at soft refurb of common areas as well as rooms, as the property does have good potential with existing management. Also want to address, the carpet on the floors corridors definitely needs good deep clean as the smell can be bit off putting.

I don't drive so it is a hotel at which I have always stayed because transport is easy to access as is the main shopping and entertainment areas - although the cheaper rooms are are outdated to some respect, it is still a very convenient hotel for me to access

Location is good. The hotel is in need of renovation. You can hear people in the room next door even though they are talking normally. The shower door was always coming off its tracks.

Every thing we wanted to do and see was in easy walking distance. Had a very nice breakfast this morning before we left. Hotel is close to train station, by which point we came in to the city.
