We stay in a lot of hotels and this was probably the least comfortable and here’s why - Our room was very dated (popcorn walls/ceiling, no USB ports, walls needed painting) and had a musty odor. It was clean but the carpeting had holes, walls were poorly patched in various areas, and ceiling was peeling off in the bathroom. The walls are incredibly thin. We could easily hear other rooms flushing the toilets, taking showers, watching TV, and people walking above. The bed and linens were fine, but it was hard to sleep well with so much noise around our room. It’s July but I don’t think the AC was running in the hallways as it was very hot walking back n forth to our room.
The breakfast area was depressing. This area, which extends from the front desk, has old, outdated furniture and amenities. There was a person attending the breakfast, but we observed her only putting out limited amounts of food. People repeatedly had to ask her for refill juice, milk, breads, etc. The quality of coffee and food was very poor. Many of the hotels we stay in offer complimentary breakfast. I’ve never seen one that offered such a sad selection of food.
This is a family run hotel and it seems to me they are investing as little as possible in this property. Definitely not worth the money they’re charging.
