The Neighborhood:
Pogonia, a picturesque village located on the west coast of mainland Greece, is situated in a breathtaking backdrop of beautiful and serene vistas and the crystal clear waters of the Ionian sea. Olive trees, vineyards and pine trees extend down to sandy beaches. Local tavernas,cafe and a bakery are within walking distance. The villa offers an excellent base to be able to explore the neighbouring islands of Lefkada (which boasts some of the top 10 beaches in Europe), Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, Atokos and the famous Scorpios island. We thoroughly recommend our rib boat day cruise around the many Ionian Islands as it offers an amazing insight to the many beauties of Greece that are often overlooked. We can book this for you at any time.
4km around the bay you will come along the busy town of Paleros which is a lively alternative to Pogonia. There are tavernas, shops and our own Paleros Yacht club that provides all day entertainment and offers sun loungers and umbrellas to relax under whilst enjoying a drink from the large variety of cocktails that they offer or to dine on the delicious food chosen from an extremely modern and tasty menu.

Taxis are available for hire but a car is recommended if the area is to be explored.
