The hote l was good buffet was huge and food was ok. Location wise way too far from everything 2 hours from Cancun airport and at least 1 hours of bussing to get to the excursion. Staff was ok and just a big disappointment about their wedding office. We are planning our wedding so we went to the wedding office in Bahía Tulum (you can go to their 4 hotels with one bracelet). We entered the office and the lady behind the desk I don’t think was trained well for this job. We told her that we are planning our wedding for 2026 and we have about 30/35 people invited. At that point we were expecting the lady to show us some pictures about weddings done there or taken for a tour and show us the venue and give us some informations about how it works. The lady just took our email and told us that some office from the states will contact us with prices and everything. I could do that online too I feel so we just stand up and left really disappointed. As expected our wedding won’t be there for sure but at this point I do not blame the lady that works there because I don’t see why having an office open when the only answer is to take an email! I guess they don’t need much of business

I'll start with the good. The entire resort grounds are beautiful. Very green and lush. The buffet has a large selection of food. Even the pickiest eater can find something. Teppenyaky restaurant was great, Le Gourmet very nice and delicious, Tequila restaurant by far the best. The staff and food were phenomenal. Now the bad. Overall staff on the resort RUDE. Only a handful were courteous, polite, and engaging. Bartenders all were extremely rude and inattentive. Drinks were par for being all in-clusive. Majority of the guest seemed to be locals and left you feeling like an unwanted in-law staying for the holidays. The pools were very warm and not very refreshing due to a lack of shade. The beach is amazing, only downfall is waiting on the shuttle.....oh the shuttles. They will take you everywhere....but rarely to your room. Lobby, yes. Shops, yes. Other resorts lobby, yes. Your room, no. Of the 3 Bahia resorts within proximity of each other Coba comes in last. Spend the extra for Tulum or Akulam. Rooms were very clean but AC is set by the resort so the room stays around 77 degrees. Our AC began leaking in the middle of the night. Called twice and finally had to go to the front desk to get help.

We are a family of 6 and it was awesome that we were able to request adjoining rooms. Only downside is there is no direct access to the beach from this resort. They have little carts that will drive you around. These carts fill up quickly and you need to wait awhile unless you are executive members. The Gourmet Mexican and Brazilian restaurant were amazing and the Japanese restaurant put on a fabulous show. The main buffet hall was very warm with no air conditioning and only a few fans. Great selection of food. Was hard to get drinks in the main buffet hall. Kids club was ok. My kids went once and didn't want to go back. Short shows/entertainment for them in the evening. Teens club just hung out and played video games despite all the listed activities on the board. Rooms were clean. Pools were great. Overall, we had a great relaxing time.

Property has beautiful spacious rooms. Very clean and well maintained. We loved taking golf carts and going from one property to another . It was super convenient. Totally appreciate the room service team. Our rooms looked sparkling clean everyday. Good was delicious at the buffet. Overall very fun stay.

El personal que atiende en checking mal educados les falta mucha preparación y no te dan información de lo que tiene el hotel y no te ayudan en nada fue la peor experiencia realmente no es un hotel como dicen 4 estrellas es máximo 2 y mucho nos dieron los números de los cuartos en stick notes estando en la habitación a los 15 minutos trataron de abrirnos otros huéspedes porque les habían dado el mismo cuarto las toallas nunca nos dieron tarjetas preguntabas u a visa y todos decían diferentes horarios y no te indican las actividades que tienen y para completar tú solicitas algo y se enojan o te dejan con la hablando solo realmente no recomiendo este hotel para nada pésimo

What I liked was that the Kulkulkan buffet had a variety of food that was different each day we ate. The staff delivered a small surprise for my son’s 16th Birthday which was a nice touch. Ana at the Food Truck area and Manuel at Kulkulkan were exceptional with their service. What I didn’t like was an all-inclusive resort feeling very limited. This property is not beach-front, so you need a shuttle to get to the beach. The buildings are quite dated and run down (e.g., missing roof shingles, broken tiles and mirrors), very few electrical outlets in the room (none are three prong), AC didn’t work well (couldn’t get cooler than 21 to 23 C) and was very loud. The wifi and App was inconsistent and unreliable. The check in and check out experience weren’t great. We didn’t get any explanation about the property, no maps are provided and the one in the App is unreadable. There were three people working but it wasn’t enough for the many people waiting to check in. For check out, we booked a cart to pick us and our luggage up to bring us to the lobby, but they didn’t’ show up. The a la carte restaurants book up quickly and the app doesn’t allow you to book reservations for more than one room. The two we went to - Mashua and Mikado were both open air restaurants, so they were hot and mosquitoes were an issue that detracted from the dining experience. It would have been better if both were enclosed and air conditioned. We liked our time there but will go somewhere different next time.

I was staying in there from 8/1-8/7. The general Experience was ok but not amazing or even good. The hotel gets pack with local.(not a bad thing but it is very Crowded). Below are my main personal opinions if you are considering this hotel. 1- Let’s start with the check in: -you better do the pre check in online so you don’t have to do the huge line for regular check in. You will struggle to get WiFi to do the online check in because you need an assigned room to get the password. I saw during my stay multiple busses with locals coming in and the lobby was always full doing check ins and out specially between 1 and 4 pm. The lobby gets extremely hot and doing the regular line for check in it is super slow and hot. -if you have a disability please request the 1st floor because you can be assigned to a 3rd floor and the villas do not have elevators. 2- The AC: -there is AC in the rooms but not cold. -very few restaurants have AC and they are not enough. You will be sweating during your whole meal (at least in summer time). -in the Japanese restaurant (hibachi) they turn off the extractor on top of the grill while you eat and the grill is on. (I though I was going to faint or had a heat stroke) -the buffet and the theater have big windows but they don’t open them all (I don’t know why) so it is very hot too. -the bathroom are ovens with no ventilation at all so you will feel like suffocating when you are inside.

Overall great place to stay, place and room were clean, staff was super friendly and had a great time while staying there. The only thing that could be better is the buffet was mid quality and there isn't any AC in the main dinning areas. On the other hand restaurants for dinner were fantastic, the food was amazing and we had a wonderful time there.

We went here to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday and we had a blast! Upon arrival they upgraded our 8 person party to the adults only luxury property instead of the Coba that we had originally booked. That meant we were eligible for ala-carte dinners every night instead of just 3. When we got to the new resort I let them know we were there for a birthday and they went above and beyond to help us surprise her. On her birthday they decorated her door and bed, as well as leaving two bottles of champagne and some chocolates. She was so thrilled to have the special treatment. They also brought us to our restaurant for dinner on a private shuttle. Getting to have access to the other luxury resort was the best part! We saw a fire show, enjoyed time in the main pool, and especially enjoyed the swim in the infinity pool. Everyone that worked there was so kind and made sure to check in with us frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will absolutely be returning to this or another Bahia property.

They claim to be all inclusive but the only let you do a couple of reservations for dinner the other nights you have to go to the buffet, food not great and there is no air conditioner and a lot of people Wouldn’t recommend
