SEASCAPE is our escape from the world. Our ground floor, corner two bedroom, two bath condominium is located directly on Half Moon Bay's beach. At almost fifteen-hundred square feet, it is larger than most 2/2 condos in the area and has a very open floor plan. As it is our 2nd home, we have over the years, completely upgraded it to be perfect for us and our discerning guests. Seascape is built with the best of Mexican craftsmanship using American/European materials and standards. It contains a combination of amenities that you won't find in any other condo in the area, making SeaScape the standard for combined luxury and comfort.
Some unique features of Seascape include: the best quality windows/door systems obtainable: minimizing heat, sound and storm impact, also providing solid security, state-of-the-art electrical outlets with direct USB charge ports, high quality kitchenware, blackout curtains, multi-room separable stereo system, custom built-in cabinetry with drawers throughout, underbed luggage storage, and decorative security ironwork.
Seascape is also environmentally friendly with energy efficient appliances, soft LED lighting, non-toxic paint, and non-polluting cleaning and paper products. We are fully licensed and permitted and exceed all safety requirements.

Everything is provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation, including FREE WIFI, FREE parking, PRIVATE beach loungers and chairs, FULL maid service, UNLIMITED bottled water, FULL AC, 2 LARGE SMART TVs with Private VPN, Netflix, and ROKU. Even a smart workspace! And of course great linens, beds, and bath products.

DETAILS
You know you've reached SeaScape just by it's entrance which has a custom stained glass transom depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.

Throughout the condo special touches abound depicting the best of local materials and craftsmanship: stained glass, tropical mahogany cabinetry, hand painted Talavera ceramics, Mexican handblown glass, and sustainable local hardwood furniture.

There are two bedrooms with king sized beds. Both bedrooms have orthopedic mattresses with supportive padding, combined with high count Egyptian cotton linens and multiple pillow types provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL.

The master bedroom has a custom crafted headboard of exotic wood tiles from antique ship wrecks. It’s closets have woven south-American mahogany doors and built-in drawer cabinets and shelves so it’s easy to stay organized. The attached spa master bathroom is done in local marbles, natural sea glass and shell has a custom mahogany vanity with plenty of drawers and space.

The guest bedroom's is done in a contemporary Caribbean color scheme with a Tommy Bahama padded headboard and a hand carved mahogany dresser. It has a private patio and seating looking into our expansive gardens. The second bathroom boasts an onyx chunk stone sink, handmade tiles, and local marble walls and floor. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.

The kitchen has custom made Mayan walnut (called Tzalam) cabinetry with plenty of drawers and cabinets. It's countertops have cut stone backsplashes, full size appliances and double sink provide convenience and space for cooking and bartending at the same time! Of course, SeaScape's kitchen is well outfitted for all types of entertaining.

Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to our beach and bay. As a professional landscape designer, the gardens are my passion, so over the years, we've transformed the garden areas with many unique plants of the region, including many orchids, gingers, plumeria, dragon fruit and other tropical blooming plants. It's truly beautiful.

Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. Half Moon Bay (HMB) is a designated ecological zone, with a vibrant living reef. While you are close to everything; it is very private and quiet. We are a quiet, laid-back area focused on our beautiful bay and beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving. Close by are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!

The premier place to stay in Akumal! La Sirena #1 is a beautiful 2 room unit, well stocked if you're cooking. ( which we didnt) a great enclosed patio leads you out the the private beach are and, out to the best snorkeling in Half Moon Bay! Also, a short walk or bicycle ride from Ya Ku Lagoon. A great place to spend a day snorkeling in a brackish water lagoon! Don't miss your chance to experience this amazing property yourself!

Spacious well equipped condo with beautiful views
Staying at the Seascape condo was a wonderful experience. The apartment felt like home, as it was cosy and beautifully decorated, and especially because the kitchen was so well equipped you could virtually prepare anything. As we stayed there at the end of our trip we decided to relax and enjoy. We ate lunch in restaurants, shopped for groceries, prepared salads in the evening and watched sunset whilst reading the books we found in the library! The views were breathtaking and it was so good to wake up with the sea right in front of the apartment. I initially had planned to book an apartment on the second floor but I did not regret at all having booked the ground floor for it was very practical and created space. The swimming pool is beautiful and the personnel very friendly and helpful. Overall I certainly recommend booking it! Thank you very much Diana.

We had a wonderful stay at Seascape and found it to be exactly as represented between the description and reviews. We would definitely stay there again. The condo was furnished with everything we desired and had a superb layout for our family of 4. Having a bottled water dispenser in the unit was a real plus! We enjoyed lounging on the screened in porch and enjoying the peaceful view of the bay. The bay was warm for swimming but very shallow and you needed to wear water shoes at all times. Also, you can't rent snorkel gear in Akumal unless you are doing a guided experience unlike Hawaii. So if you are thinking of snorkeling yourself either bring your own gear or be prepared to purchase some.

LaSirena Seascape Condo
This was our second stay at LaSirena Condominiums. It was again a fabulous stay. We arrived late on June 8th so waking up to the beauty of Halfmoon Bay from the window of our Seascape living room window was incredible. The condo was everything my family was looking for during our week long stay. Highly recommend this 2 bedroom/2 bath unit that is directly on the beach with great water and snorkeling at your door. The entire facility and staff make LaSirena a perfect stay.

Diana’s condo was excellent. Diana sent lots of info before travel which really helped in understanding the location and units. La Sirena condos are the best condo units on Half Moon bay. Beautiful grounds full of trees, flowers. Beautiful pool. Serene, safe. Front ocean area no seaweed, fun snorkeling. We walked or rode bikes up street to small grocery store, 4 restaurants. Akumal is a quaint, small town. People so nice. Just around corner, within walking distance of this condo is the famous Ya-Kul lagoon. Condo beds, pillows etc comfy. TV, wi fi all work. Full kitchen, loved being on corner unit on ground floor. Walk right out to ocean and had room to wash off and dry gear. Loved the screened porch. Let me add that I was worried about security before I went. No need to worry. Full time maintenance man always around and cleaning crew. Full time security guy at night. National guard manned is across street from these condos. It was a great vacation. Favorite was sitting in chairs under palapa. There always was a beautiful breeze. You won’t have any regrets booking in this condo. While there met a couple from Dallas and a couple from Sacramento. Lots of space for everyone and really liked that La Sirena had only 24 units.

Perfect Location
The condo was beautiful and VERY functional as described in the listing. Typical Mexican furniture which looks lovely but isn't very comfortable. Screened in porch a nice touch for those downpours! The A/C is excellent. You can leave it off and it cools off really quickly when you come in. There is a unit in the living/kitchen area plus a unit in each bedroom. They are right about the seaweed. Where the condo is located very little blows in to that side of the bay, it all goes over to the La Buena Vida side. The beach property and the gardens are taken care of beautifully! The exterior of the building is in sad shape. In fact when our airport transfer dropped us off he said "oh oh" because the exterior of the building on the street looks terrible, but when you walk in the gardens are gorgeous and the condo itself in good shape. Nice pool but shallow pleasure pool only. The "lane" pool is short and shallow. The complex was pleasingly quiet, even when there are children playing there. The beach is definitely a snorkel beach but it is VERY shallow and rough. Challenging to get in and out of because you need to have water shoes that fit inside your flippers because you need to either walk a long way with your flippers (I am terrible at that) or walk in your water shoes and then put your flippers on in the deeper water over them. Once you are in I thought it was good snorkeling. Saw a turtle, 4 rays, squid, eels, and a large variety of fish. It is very windy so fins are helpful. All in all, I would recommend this condo highly.

We stayed in Diana’s lovely condo for 30 days, & we weren’t ready to leave. Quiet, safe, comfortable…lots to do, but we mostly loved hanging out by the beach just steps from the back door. Yal-ku Lagoon was a couple of blocks away, & snorkeling there was like being in a beautiful salt water fish tank…but it was the real thing! Snorkeled with a guide at Akumal Beach and saw 7 sea turtles! The gorgeous bay at the condo was also wonderful snorkeling. Our favorite restaurant was La Lunitas - great margs - and we enjoyed the beach bar vibe at La Buena Vida. Turtle Bay Cafe and Cueva del Pescador both had wonderful food, and Taverna had great pizza & lovely ambiance. A few day trips to visit the ruins at Tulum & Coba, plus a couple of cenotes (Crystalino was our favorite), and we just had a perfect vacation. Diana was readily available, & the property manager Francesca was always on the property if needed. We had not planned to rent a car, but Diana encouraged us to do so, & I was so glad she did. While Akumal is small, it is spread out, & a car was definitely worthwhile. We definitely recommend this idyllic spot & hope to return.

This property was misrepresented!
I spoke with the owner before my stay. She assured me that as a female traveling alone that her location was safe. When I arrived there were bars on the windows and door. There were 3 locks on the front door. It was also advertised as on the beach. There was a rock wall with a 3 foot drop to water and rocks. There was not a beach at all. I left as soon as I arrived. It took me hours to find another place to stay. I was driving around in the dark. It was a terrible experience. I called the owner and she did not pick up or return my call.

Best spot on half moon bay
I’ll be honest, when we pulled up I was a little scared. The outside looks sketchy. However, the National Guard is across the street - and then once you go inside the gate the condo is deeper past the pool, right on the beach. It was absolutely stunning. So long story short, don’t let the outside fool you….it was super late and dark when we pulled up after a long day of travel. We would for sure stay here again. We rented a car and explored Tulum. Loved it!!

This property is amazing!
Diana’s condo is beautifully decorated and on the northern tip of Half Moon Bay where there is no seaweed on the beach. The condo is right on the beach and has floor to ceiling windows to view the ocean from the kitchen and living room. You can even see the ocean from the master bedroom! Absolutely stunning place and Diana is great- very responsive. I would recommend renting a car because it’s difficult to get a taxi from the property. Easy parking on her property. Loved it so much and plan to come back.

A slice of heaven!
If you are considering booking this property, do it now. The beautiful ocean is your backyard! My family of 4 had a fantastic 2 week vacation at Seascape. The area was perfect. We rented a car and were able to see many sights and experience Mayan Riviera culture. Diana, thank you for all the information and communication. It was so helpful! We loved the area, despite large amounts of seaweed on the beaches (no thanks to climate change, as indicated my many locals). La Sirena had minimal amounts of seaweed most days. It was sad to see all over the beaches, but it didn’t hold us back from having the vacation of a lifetime. The condo was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and everything you would need. We snorkeled almost everyday, enjoyed the beautiful pool, went to Coba, Tulum, nearby Aktun Chen, ate at local restaurants, and had a blast. Don’t miss the beautiful lagoon for snorkeling which was a 5 minute bike ride! With Diana’s recommendation, my husband and oldest son went fishing one day, caught a barracuda and mackerel, and La Cueva cooked it up for dinner for us! Yum! The condo was perfectly located for seeing many sights, shopping, etc. We felt very safe the entire time…Also, the National Guard was posted up across the street! I could rave on about this property for days. Don’t hesitate! Book it! I hope to bring my extended family members to La Sirena someday. Many thanks, Diana!

Fantastic vacation house!
Thank you Diana, we were extremely happy with our stay! The property and its complex is well maintained. It's right on a private beach and the view was just gorgeous! On-site manager Francesca was super nice and helpful. Housekeeper was so meticulous too! The only suggestion for Diana is please update the photos of the listing! A Week in Paradise
Diana, thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. The interior decor is so lovingly selected, that just sitting inside was a treat. It is obvious that you put much time and care into making it comfortable and inviting as well as beautiful. Being right at the beach was amazing and peaceful. Paradise
Seascape is a fantastic place to vacation! Views, snorkeling, comfort, beautiful decor, and an attentive and helpful property owner are all part of this amazing vacation experience. Nearby, are great restaurants and other beaches. We visited Yal-Kai Lagoon, just a five-minute walk away, for more amazing snorkeling, and drove 30 minutes to the Tulum Mayan ruins.
