The house is ideal for up to 14 people in a nice centrally located neighborhood by the harbor in Akureyri and can serve as a base for unforgettable experiences in Akureyri, surrounding areas and main attractions in the North.

The house has three separate apartments that can be rented individually or together

The apartments together are ideal for up to 16 persons as the ground floor apartment can accommodate up to 4 persons while middle and top floor apartments can accommodate up to 6 persons each.

The ground floor apartment has one bedroom and a stylish open kitchen living room area, smart tv with netflix and a fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment on middle and top floor look the same and are divided into two separate bedrooms each and stylish open kitchen living room area furnished with a sofa bed (150x200), smart tv with Netflix and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a walk in shower and laundry area (washing machine and dryer).

Master bedroom in both middle and top floor apartments has 2 single beds (90x200) joined together making a 180x200 bed with a 180x200 comforter mattress on top of the joined beds. Master bedroom also has a wardrobe.

Smaller bedroom in both middle and top floor apartments has two single 80x200 beds and a closet for clothes.

Bed linens and towels are provided for guests.

Free wifi is available.

The house is near the harbor where whale watching and boat tours are available and is only a 5 minute walking distance from the city center with restaurants, bars, parks, movie theater, supermarkets, geothermal pool, a gym and free public transportation nearby.

The apartment has a key lock box. Self check in instructions will be sent to guests on the arrival day.

The house is located by the harbor and is only a 5 min walk to the city center where one can enjoy a great range of eating options such as sushi, steaks, seafood, Thai food, Indian food, Fish & Chips and the popular Icelandic hot dog. There are bars, movie theaters, supermarkets, geothermal pool, museums and a botanical garden nearby.

The house is only 2 min walk to the harbor of Akureyri where there are many recreational activities available such as whale watching tours and boat excursions and one can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the longest fjord in Iceland, Eyjafjörður. The cultural and conference center Hof is situated by the harbor as well as a gym and the lovely restaurant Bryggjan.

Akureyri airport is a 5 min drive from the apartment

Akureyri is a 4,5 hour drive from Reykjavík Capital by car.

Scheduled bus tours from Reykjavík Capital to Akureyri available all year. 5,5-6 hour drive.

Public transportation with the local city bus in Akureyri is free. There is a bus stop about 5 min walk from the apartment on Eidsvallagata.

On-street parking available for free by the apartment.

There are two parking zones in the center of Akureyri, P1 and P2. The charging hours are: Monday-Friday 10:00 - 16:00. Temporary parking zones are marked areas within zone P1 and P2. The maximum parking time is 2 hours.
