Great location, room and breakfast
Always stay here when visiting my parents. It's conveniently located and has a wonderful restaurant next door. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast every morning as a great variety of things to choose from.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before this last visit because it’s clean, in a safe neighborhood, and has a great restaurant next to it. The staff has always been wonderful. This time I paid almost $100 more for just myself and when the girl at front desk asked what was in my little box I told her it was my 6” leopard gecko and that it was too cold to leave her in the car. The clerk wanted to charge me a pet fee even though my pet was in a container where she would spend the night. If I had not already paid $279 for a room that I paid $160 for 2 months ago I would have walked out. I found the clerk to be borderline rude and will certainly second guess whether I should use this hotel again on my yearly trek thru Albany.

Warm breakfast pastries.
Check in was great. Very friendly front desk people. I have a small service dig and they remembered his name each time we left to walk. Love the treats in the lobby and the breakfast was great. The warm pastries each morning really added to it. The pool was a bit cold but after you were in, it felt great.
