I had a problem getting in my room the key did not work. I went to the desk twice. I notice it was a smell when I entered the room. Open up the microwave and someone left food in it. For the overpriced room for this event. Make sure the keys work and the room is clean. Sad part they don’t give a damn about the customers. It’s just give us the money. Overpriced and I had this problem from all the hotels I have stayed over the last 4 years. They all price gouging and if they don’t even apologize for their inconvenience. Then you know they will not reimburse you even for a small portion of your money. All they say is we’re sorry.

Filthy!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting. The carpet did seem to have been vacuumed. The tile was sticky. There was a large sticky spot on the carpet. The whole hotel stunk of pet urine and cleaning products. Vile place. Although the lady at the front desk was super friendly.

The bed closest to the bathroom in room 219 needs to be replaced. The bed definitely had some adult use or a long time visitor as the mattress sunk in the middle and the bed the frame was detached at the foot of the bed. The other bed in the room was quite comfy. Aside from the bed, the hotel was ok. I could tell some updates were made in the bathroom, but some corners were cut as I could tell what repair work was newer than the rest. The hotel was quiet. Staff was very welcoming from the front desk to the housekeepers. Continental breakfast was to be expected and the area was clean.

My stay has been horrible. I arrived on Friday and spoke with an employee who asked about house keeping at check-in. I requested house keeping for the duration of our 3 day stay and our room has not been touched by house keeping at all. This would probably explain why I returned to my room Saturday night and found a HUGE cockroach on the bathroom floor. I went to the lobby and spoke with a female employee who stated that she was the only one working, but she was nice enough to come and kill the roach. Now Sunday night, as I’m getting ready for bed, I see another roach crawl out of the air conditioner unit and fall onto the carpet. I quickly grabbed a shoe, located the roach and stepped on it. Due to this now being the second roach in our room, I went to the lobby, spoke with the same female employee and requested to be moved to another room. Once in the new room I felt it was necessary to do a check for any other roaches before I felt comfortable going to sleep. There was a dead roach in the corner of the room near the air conditioner unit, along with an opened packet of butter someone probably brought back to the room from breakfast and used. This is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money I paid to stay here! Aside from our rooms being roach filled and not cleaned, the hallways and elevators of this hotel are also filthy. I understand there are renovations taking place, but the entire hotel looks like it needs a good cleaning. I will never stay here again.

You should consider closing the property until renovations are completed. Property is listed as a 3-star hotel...in it's current condition it's more along the line of a 1-star. Hallways, elevator, room flooring, excessively dirty....ac units are unreliable and only half of the light fixtures in the room works.... staff is very pleasant and friendly...doing the best they can under undesirable work conditions...
