They were very accomodating for our late arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the chain on the toilet flushing lever had come off. Quick fix!

When reserving and paying for a room at the Phoenix, we wrote to them and specifically requested a room away from noisy equipment such as elevators or ice machines. Upon arriving around 6PM we were assigned a room whose wall adjoined the elevator and the ice machine. The noise stopped around 12:30 in the morning and began at 4:30. The morning manager advised this was unfortunate but they are busy and corporate must not have forwarded the request. It appears rooms are first come, first served so best to arrive around 16:00 or you will get a room over the laundry or adjoining the utility area. It would be better for the hotel staff to have the ability offer a refund to its customers so they can find another hotel where the money they paid will ensure a reasonable nights sleep. Buyer beware with this company. They only care about the money they make and not their customers..

Contrary to the sign for the property, which is quite dated, the property was in very good condition inside and out. The lobby was large and the furnishings were nice. The staff were incredibly friendly with every encounter I had with them. I would definitely stay again!

The staff was exceptional. They took great care of us and were kind and caring especially when it came to assisting with my handicapped husband. The room was clean and spacious and accessible for my husband.

I always stay at this location when I am on work trips. Everyone is friendly and the location is easy to get to. I'll keep going here until I am not satisfied, I don't see that happening.

Nice and comfy!
This is a nice place to stay in Albany. The front desk were friendly and nice. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable The pillows could be upgraded. They felt a little bulky and over-loved. Hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast. My only complaint was the parking...a lot of construction people stay there and take up several spaces right up front. They should be required to park around back of the hotel. We had to park in the back, but you cannot enter with your key through the back doors.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a property right on the freeway. But, the price was right during OSU move in weekend, so we took a chance. Boy, am I glad that we did! Not only was this property very convenient, it was clean, spacious, had a great breakfast, and great staff. Only one issue is that part of the work out room needs some maintenance, but we'll definitely be back over the next several years.
