This hotel was fine for the great price I paid. It's close to UAlbany and that's why I was in the area. The outside was clean, lobby was spacious. Plastic shields between the customer and front desk employee is off-putting. The breakfast area was way, way too small tonaccommodate the amount of guests who would be wating at any given time. Breakfast hours were long, which was great (6-10 am). Waffles, toast, yogurt, muffins and some fresh fruit were the offerings. It was a nice assortment, but if staying longer than 2 nights yous be bored with those offering. The room was a good size for 2 double beds. We had plenty of aoace to put our bags. The bathroom had a nice vanity for laying our toiletries. Rooms seems to have been recently updated. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable which made a great night's sleep. My biggest compliant is the awful smell of the rooms. I don't know of it's a mold smell from the AC unit or what, but it was so bad on the second night after returning from a long day on Albany's campus that I had to request a disinfectant. It helped in the moment, but when i got home inrelized that all of my clothes, even the ones I hadn't worn had the terrible smell. Our room was serviced, which was a surprise. I actually would have preferred that it wasnt, but I didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign. It was a good value for the price. I'd stay again, but woukd hope the smell is under control.

When I started to settle in my room I noticed the tv was limited to 3 channels. When I called the front desk the rep asked if I’d like to change rooms. So I took the offer. As I got into my second room I was noticing wet spots thinking it was a leak from the refrigerator. But really it was the entire carpet was soaked. I had to put towels on the floor to not get my socks wet. I wasn’t trying to walk with my shoes especially when getting up in the morning touching the floor with my bare feet. I took a showers and didn’t feel clean cuz the floor was soaking wet. The rep was very nice just the rooms were not welcoming.

The staff here was great. Very courteous and helpful. However, the air conditioning unit made noise our entire stay. The bed frame made noise each time you moved. There was no closet just an open rack to place items on hangers. The breakfast was ok but they are in desperate need of more than one waffle maker and they need a more reliable one. The grounds were well kept - the area around the outside of the hotel was very clean. The lobby of the hotel was also very clean. As I stated, the staff was beautiful but the asthetics if the hotel needs some work.

The front desk staff was pleasant during check in…. Unfortunately we got booked into the most disgusting room. Mold, soiled sheets, stained walls, algae around the air conditioning, the list is endless. I complained out of health concerns to Expedia immediately. Unfortunately it took over 45 minutes, several calls and an absolute headache, to get the additional TWO nights we weren’t staying (we checked in for Fri/sat/Sun and stayed only Friday) refunded as a platinum Expedia member. To say this hotel and Expedia both were terrible is an understatement. The manager did offer to bring new sheets or move our room. After an hour of trying to work with Expedia we slept on top of the bed for a few hours, refused to change rooms as the whole property was deplorable (we knew another room would likely also be run down and filthy) We would never wish this experience on other travelers. Please, do not stay here, I’d also advise to have a back up plan because Expedia will leave you high and dry with “sleep in your car” attitude, they offered no rebooking assistance but a $50 credit (I wasted $50 of onekey credit on the booking).

There’s no words that can accurately describe how disgusting this hotel was. ALL of the bed sheets were stained and the room smelled filthy, like sour grapefruit. We requested another room and were lied to, stating that they were fully booked, so we asked for new sheets and an odor spray. When we looked at the new sheets they were also ALL stained and the comforter had a bunch of rips and holes in it. Of course, my wife and I refused to stay there and were denied a refund but were offered a new room (after we were just told they didn’t have any). We ended up having to leave because of how filthy the room was and never received the refund. DO NOT stay here.

We had no issues , everything was great. The staff were friendly. Our only problems was the smell in the lobby. It seemed to wreak of marijuana! Maybe some air freshener would be nice! Maybe it was not a regular problem; but it was definitely a turn off
