Hotel & room were both clean and neat. My stay was short and I didn't have time to experience much at the actual hotel - not their fault. Would definitely consider returning should I visit Albion again.

The staff left the building a few hours before my check in so didn't get into the room till 6pm had to call albion police to do a wellness check because no one was there from 3:30 till 5:30pm

Meh. But prob the best in town.
No soap in showers. No early check in available. No servers for bistro (so no bistro). Teens hanging out in front of and in back of hotel (yelled at us as we walked by — to try to startle us ??? Not sure). Many closed businesses and empty storefronts on same block. Staff nice, but seriously understaffed.

The hotel is very nice and I would definitely return. Dining choices in Albion are slim at best, so it would be nice to have a more extensive snack/ breakfast bar at the hotel with longer hours.

Loved the stay!
While this hotel may be understaffed, it makes up for it with the strength of the staff it does have. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the TV had entertaining channels. The lobby was comfortable and had snacks and drinks available for purchase, as well as a delicious breakfast menu. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the gym and pool were also very clean. My fiancé and I were very pleased!

Front office staff great. Bad issue - the Bistro was not open for dinner. Guests should have been notified that this was not open. I had to find other places to eat. Poor communication!!!

For starters, I was coming in town for a funeral. I received and email shortly before boarding my flight that my reservation was cancelled. When I called and asked about the reason while boarding they said that they had a water pressure issue and had to shut down parts of the hotel. There were no suggestions of where to go other than there are hotels in Jackson and also Marshall. My wife was able to jump online while I was in flight and book me at a hotel in Jackson. When I arrived and told my family meme red about what happened they said that happened to someone else in the family, keep in mind that the rest of the family was still in the hotel and mentioned no issues. Come to find out the truth was that they had only one housekeeper working that day and were not able to get rooms cleaned. Tell me the truth would have been better than telling a sine cold lie. Integrity above all. The courtyard in Jackson was accommodating but Albion not so much.

Very disappointed with my stay. Booked two nights with intention of comfort and relaxation. Almost all amenities advertised were not available or down for maintenance; pool, bar/restaurant, ice machine on 1st floor, etc… Front desk not friendly and or helpful. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

While the staff was as helpful as they could. I was still really disappointed that the kitchen wasn't open for lunch or dinner. I generally look for these hotels specifically so I can eat at the end of my day from traveling, rather than try to find something out on the town. Also, my room didn't have a microwave, which was also disappointing. In general, for the price of the room, I received way less and paid much more.

There was no sheets for the fold out bed. Called and then they called back, then they actually came and looked in room because they didn’t believe us. Only 1 bath towel for 2 Queen bed and sofa bed, really!?!? Dirty washcloth from previous guest still in shower, housekeeper removed when she brought linens for bed.

Eh. Not again
It is a beautiful building, the staff needs more training, staff members hangout right outside the door on smoke breaks, one manager you ask a question and it’s an I don’t know, seems awkward, I drove 17hrs to see family and staff seems to be on own program, waited for coffee 30min till next day the staff got some help. Will stay in Jackson or Ann Arbor next time. Staff just needs to take pride in appearance and job
