My only complaint is the Maintenance man who spent a considerable amount of time in the ladies room at end of hallway on the 1st floor and didn't bother to wash his hands after handling his smelly #2 business. Then, he was later seen picking up a plastic knife from the container of knives for lodgers use in the buffet area, using the knife to adjust the temperature on the thermostat through the lockbox on the wall, and PUTTING THE KNIFE BACK INTO THE CONTAINER FOR CUSTOMER USE!! Due to no fault of the hotel, the neighborhood seemed sketchy due to the large number of loiterers/homeless persons but we didn’t have any problems; so don’t let the area deter you. Ending on a positive note: check in was fast & flawless. The front desk staff was professional, courteous, and address us by name as we came and went to/from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, & comfortable. The hotel location is easy access on/off the interstate & there are several restaurants, convenience stores, & service stations nearby.

The homeless population around this area is TERRIBLE. The only thing that made this hotel good was the breakfast and the two ladies working in the kitchen.

Signs in the lobby indicated that this hotel is going to get an update, and it needs one. The bed was soft and uncomfortable and the fan on the air conditioning ran constantly in our room. It was very annoying, but at least it worked. One of the 2 elevators was out of service and the hallways had a musty odor. We would not have picked this hotel had we known the condition.

Traveling to Sedona.
Only one of the elevators were working. Our room had a long split in the paint over the bed, and there was a hole in the sagging paint (it appeared to have been that way for a while). The bathroom door would not close. It was dragging or sagging somewhere and would not close. It also seemed to be that way for a while.

The room we had 108 was in very poor condition. Needs to be remodeled badly. The shades didn’t work . The shower floor edges was all cracked, by the toilet there had been a lot of water damage, the office chair is in bad condition ,or ac did not cool down our room and ran all night . would not recommend staying there .
