We arrived after a 5 hour drive and were allocated a room on 4th floor. Unfortunately we weren't told that some renovation was taking place on the floor. The noise was unbearable and we got moved to the 7th floor where it was better although you could still hear the drilling and banging. So much for having a quiet rest after a tiring drive. The staff should have informed us at book in that there was the issue!! That aside the property is well located with cafes, bars and restaurants nearby including at the property. The room was clean and comfortable although the bin hadn't been emptied from previous guests. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but quite small.

Wow , what a gem this place is, right in the middle of town, walking distance to dining and shopping. All staff I encountered were so lovely, please special mention to the ladies working at the breakfast on Sunday morning 7/7. Reception staff and cleaning staff were so helpful and patient. Thankyou for an amazing stay and we will be back :)

Stopped for a couple of drinks but were made to feel we were in the way as they wanted to set tables for breakfast. Really one table and only other choice was stools to sit on and that wasn't going to happen with a hip surgery patient present.
