There are three fully equipped apartments on the holiday farm. These are situated around a beautiful garden and each have a separate entrance and private terrace with lots of privacy. There is a swimming pool of 4 by 8 meters with private terrace that guests can use from May to September.The COTTAGE is the former residence of the farm. This cottage can accommodate up to five people. The cottage is detached and is located directly on the pool.The cottage is an ideal base to visit Cáceres, Mérida, Trujillo and Guadalupe (historic cities). For nature, there are nature reserves (for example the Montfragüe National Park) and several lakes/reservoirs (Proserpina, Orellana). There are many walking and cycling routes from the finca, passing through valleys, hills, forests and swamps and lakes.
There is an extensive kitchen, a cozy living room, a toilet, a bathroom and the garden. There are three bedrooms furnished with comfortable beds: one bedroom with a large double bed, an adjoining room with a single bed; one bedroom with a single bed; one bedroom with a single bed of 135 cm wide ("queen size"). All bedrooms have ceiling fans, hanging and wardrobe, coat rack and bedside tables or tables. The kitchen has a large gas stove with electric oven and grill, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and cozy dining area. The living room is open to the kitchen and has comfortable seating and a sofa, TV, DVD and wood burner.There is the possibility to use a washing machine and drying lines. Towels, bed linen, kitchen towels and drinking water are included.
The village of Alcuéscar, with restaurants and cafes, is three kilometers away. Here you can do your daily shopping in the well-stocked supermarkets. There is a bakery, an artisan butcher and shops. On Fridays is the weekly market, with a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit and regional products such as cheese and meat productsThe finca is located directly along the Camino de Santiago and Via de la Plata. There are some restaurants 850 meters away from the finca, as well as a gas station where you can also buy fresh bread and local products.
Dogs and horses are welcome, but please state in advance. Horses can graze in the meadow.Despite the fact that the finca is only a five minute drive from the Cáceres-Mérida (A66) highway, it is not at all to be seen or heard.
*It is prohibited by law to allow dogs and other (domestic) animals in the swimming pool area used by guests of a tourist accommodation.
*Pets are not allowed to run loose in the area of the casa rural and near the stables. Pets must be kept on a leash or at the house. This is necessary to prevent nuisance to other guests and/or our animals.
*Dogs are allowed to run loose in the fields of the farm, provided they do not damage the farm animals that graze there, the vegetable garden and the wild animals that may be there (eg nesting birds, turtles, rabbits and hares).
*Maximum 2 pets allowed per accommodation.
*Pets are subject to a surcharge of euro 15.00 per stay.
*Pets must be requested in advance.
