This cosy cottage in Aldeburgh is the perfect escape for a romantic break at any time of the year. Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, it has all the comforts of a home away from home with a wood burning stove and open-plan living area. You can also bring your dog with you and are only a short walk away from the shingle beach.

Number 22 is less than 10 minutes from the beach and High Street in Aldeburgh. The living space has an open-plan dining and sitting area leading through to the kitchen at the back of the cottage. The bathroom leads off the kitchen. Upstairs the master bedroom at the front of the cottage gets the morning sun and is light and airy. The second bedroom has views to the rear of the cottage. Number 22 has been thoughtfully decorated and fitted out to provide you with a home from home while you explore the beautiful Suffolk Coast.

The courtyard at the back of the cottage is enclosed and catches the sun in the afternoon and evening, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a sundowner. There is a brick built barbecue stand (for disposable barbecues) and garden furniture to allow you to enjoy the outdoor space.

Please note: Number 22 can also be booked as a sleeps six option. The 3rd bedroom is locked when the sleeps 4 option is booked.
Ground Floor:
Sitting room
The front door leads directly into the sitting room area with two sofas, a wood burning stove and a flatscreen television. There is WiFi provided as well.
Dining area
There is a table and seating for six with a dresser and a further sofa. The stairs lead up to the first floor and there is a permanent stair gate.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a fitted kitchen with built in washing machine, dishwasher and full height fridge freezer. There is an electric oven with gas hob and extractor fan. The kitchen has access to the courtyard at the back of the cottage.
Bathroom
The bathroom is accessed from the kitchen. There is a modern bathroom with bath and fixed shower head, wash basin, WC and full height heated towel rail.

First Floor:
Master bedroom
This bedroom has a king-size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The bedroom looks out at the front of the property.
Bedroom two
This room has a double bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. The bedroom is at the back of the cottage. A third bedroom is available when booking the sleeps six option.

Outside:
There is a small terrace at the front of Number 22 with a metal bench. At the rear of the cottage there is a courtyard with garden furniture for six guests and a brick built barbecue stand (bring your own disposable). Please note there is access along the back of the terrace to get to neighbouring properties but the courtyard is enclosed and private. There is a gate on the pathway at the rear of the cottage to stop pets wandering off if the back door is open.

Additional Information
Infants welcome. Travel cot and high chair available on request. There is a permanent stair gate at the bottom of the stairs.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, to be kept to the ground floor only please (small additional charge).
There isn’t any designated parking at the cottage however there is free parking in front of the cottage on the road.
