House 9 was ok
We rented all four houses on the property. Courtland was responsive and communicative. House nine was as described. Cortland addressed concerns about the property in a timely manner. There was a broken refrigerator/freezer in the pool house that was replaced within one day, air conditioners in other houses were not working well they were fixed within two days, other minor issues were addressed. Courtland reimbursed us for the boat,a day for the houses with broken a/c (not house 9), and error in the description of the number of bedrooms in one house. I would recommend house 9. We had other major issues with bats and mold in houses 10 and 12 that Courtland said he would address after we left. Overall, all of the houses need a thorough deep clean and attention to detail. Plants need to be clipped back so that they are not overgrown into the boardwalk areas, floor mats/rugs need to be placed on the floor in front of entry doors, particularly the side door where people have wet, sandy feet, as they enter the house. Overall, we felt the stay in house 9 was good. The outdoor areas included the dock, pool, pool house, concrete bulkhead, and beach were awesome. Despite the issues, we did enjoy the stay and if all issues could be resolved would recommend the entire resort. As an independent rental, house 9 was good.
