Very satisfied with our one night stay at the Super 8 in Alexandria,Minnesota! Very smart that the carpet in our room had been replaced with laminate flooring, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and even found a wine corkscrew for us to use! Would stay here again when returning to the area!

My sisters and I were very comfortable during our 2-night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was small but clean, and the food fresh. Nice to have coffee/tea available at all times.

Not a great stay
It was not the best experience we've had with this hotel chain. The room smelled, others had the same experience in their rooms. Though the air conditioner cooled the room, just didn't cut the humidity. This made the experience less than enjoyable.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had many options to choose from. They are in the process of redoing floors, which will make the rooms better. Only problem was you could go out the end door, but had to come back in the front because lock wasn’t working. Guests still propped door open, even though they were asked not to. Property was very pretty, and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay.

Dirty rooms and old wet towels in bathroom on arrival. A/C didn’t work properly. No clean towels and used towels and trash not picked up daily. Dust on every surface. Check in lady was less that cordial

For some reason the hotel is very humid. If you don't leave your window open the room smelled like mildew and musty. They must have a problem because they had dehumidifiers all over.
