Could have been a fabulous stay
The house, grounds and pool are very nice. It is very close to beautiful beaches. However, there was a major ant infestation in the house, which hopefully, by now, has been addressed. The property manager was great and gave us ant spray but an exterminator was needed. Also, the owner did not mention in the listing that there is a vineyard/winery being build behind the house and loud noise started as early as 7am lasting until around 5pm. This woke us up daily and made it impossible to enjoy the grounds during the day. Hopefully the construction is completed soon because it really could have been a nice private place to stay. Without the ants and construction, I would have given a much higher rating.
