Welcome to Casa Hortensia, our holiday home in La Herradura.
No matter whether you want to enjoy your breakfast with sea view on the terrace in the winter months or spend a beach holiday under the Spanish sun - Casa Hortensia offers you versatile possibilities.
The Casa Hortensia is a detached finca, which was built on a hillside property over 1.000 m² above the beautiful bay of La Herradura. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, you can enjoy the breathtaking sea views from almost every room and the huge terrace. In the house you will find two bedrooms each for 2 persons (+ 1-2 children if necessary), 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher) and a spacious living-dining area with open fireplace.

Horrid, selfish neighbours
The property was tired and needed modernisation. The dining table chairs were all cracked. There was insufficient hot water for showers. The light switches operated randomly. Three electric radiators were connected through a single extension cable. There was no microwave, kettle or toaster. The sofa was stained on the back and generally worn out. The TV was positioned such that it was impossible to view from the sofa. The neighbours were horrible and embarked on low level intimidation. I suspect that they object to this villa being a holiday let.

Hervorragende Lage, Haus teilweise renovierungsbedürftig
Traumhafte Lage oberhalb von La Herradura. Schöner Blick über die Bucht, Weg zur Strandpromenade zu Fuß ca. 45 Minuten, Auto ca 10. Haus: Highlight ist die große sonnige Terrasse. Betten sind leider eine Katastrophe, mit alten Federkernmatratzen. Bäder in die Jahre gekommen, Wasserhähne teilweise zugesetzt, Handtuchheizkörper außen verrostet. Einrichtung verschliessen und Stühle mit gebrochenen Sitzflächen.
