The place itself was exceptional. The staff on the other hand was very rude. It was the night before my wedding and the manager threw us out because im homeless and needed a place for my kids (15,12,12,11) to stay for the night. I was in the room with them til 3am when they fell asleep and then i went out to the car which was right outside of their room. At 5:30 he tapped on the window and told us we needed to leave. Was a terrible start to a wedding day.

Comfort Inn
We were in PSU visiting our daughter and there were no rooms available In State College so we booked the Comfort Inn which is a 45 minutes drive. The hotel was great. Very clean and the bed was very soft and comfortable.

It is very close to the railroad tracks and a crossing where the train blows its horn. At 6:10am. And another at 6:25 am. Good thing I wanted to get up at 6:15am. Staff was excellent. Several staff members went out of their way to put breakfast out 30 minutes early because I had to check out before breakfast opened.

We noticed when we came back from the day that our door was left open with the security lock, keeping it open. The maid must have left it open. It doesn’t seem like anything was missing but it was a little disconcerting.
