Gîte à la ferme 3* House on the Canal du Midi wifi and air conditioning

The holiday home is located in the countryside on a family estate. It is on the banks of the Canal du Midi. This holiday home is the only one in a farmhouse within a stable of owners of around thirty sport horses.
It is equipped with air conditioning in the living room of 35m2.
You benefit from a free Wi-Fi connection.
The living room has a flat screen TV with a large sofa and armchair. The dining area opens onto a fully equipped kitchen. Electric hotplates, large built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, ventilated fridge-freezer.
Upstairs two bedrooms, one with a large 160 bed and the other 2 single beds.
The bathroom with large shower and sink is equipped with a washing machine.
Outside a private terrace and two parking spaces are reserved for you.
5 minutes from the domain, in Bram, a beautiful wooded lake with nautical ski lift will allow you to spend a pleasant moment with your feet in the water in the middle of the Cathar lands.
Located 15km west of Carcassonne, you can enjoy beautiful walks in its medieval city and browse the surroundings rich in tourist places: Cathar castles, abbeys, caves, chasms ..... but also the very beautiful landscapes and lakes of the Black Mountain.
You will of course be ideally situated for visiting the surrounding countryside at a leisurely pace with the carriage of the Calèches d'Oc with the Comtoises Vanille and Océane.

Please note: in high season, arrival and departure are compulsory on Saturdays.

Lovely little gite in friendly stables
We chose this accommodation due to it's proximity to Carcassonne and the canal du midi. It's a beautiful area which we enjoyed discovering with our family. Monique and her family were friendly and helpful with everything at the gite and Monique was available when needed but always respected our privacy. My children loved the horses and Caramel the dog. The gite was well equipped and clean. Although small it had everything we needed for a family of four. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Superbe logement, très propre ! (Il est rare qu on ne fasse pas la vaisselle en arrivant dans un logement, mais absolument pas besoin ici.) logement très complet bien plus qu habituellement. Et l'équipement est en très bon état. Monique et sa famille sont très accueillants, très agréables ( Caramel le chien est aussi très attachant ). Tout était vraiment super! ( Allez ...si on devait trouver un défaut ce serait le manque d intimité en extérieur mais bon vu que tt le monde est sympa ce n est pas bien grave et cela n a rien gâché à notre séjour) Merci encore à Monique pour son accueil ! Nous recommandons à 100%

Es war wunderbar, vielen herzlichen Dank für alles. Liebevolle Unterkunft, wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt, Dank der Klimaanlage konnten wir sehr gut schlafen. Die 3 Fahrräder konnten wir kostenfrei nutzen. Monique war sehr freundlich und hat uns jede Frage prompt beantwortet. Den Hund haben wir ins Herz geschlossen.

Nous avons été reçu par la propriétaire Monique, très bon accueil. Le gîte a tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Très propre et bien conçu. Week-end vraiment très agréable. Je recommande sans problème.

Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé deux nuits excellentes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui sont très chaleureux, disponibles si on a des questions, le cadre est très familial. Le domaine est magnifique. Nos filles ont pu y voir des chevaux, des canards, des poules et faire connaissance avec Caramel, le chien du domaine. Le logement est d'une propreté irréprochable, très fonctionnel et décoré avec goût. Si nous avons l'occasion de revenir dans la région nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner !
