Fantastic stay in Ambleside with great host
We had an unforgettable stay at Barnes Fell! The property was spotless, spacious and with great views across the town to the mountains. The host, Ethna, was extremely kind and helpful and gave us several great tips.

Such a lovely place to stay, especially after a few weeks travelling around big cities. The location is ideal for getting into town, with short drives to some of the main lakes. The hosts are great, they live on the property so are always on hand when you need them, even just to help get all your luggage back to the car on check out. If im ever back in this part of the world, Ill definitely stay again!

Such a nice place to stay. Super welcoming host and brilliant location and the accommodation was crisp and clean and modern. This is my 'goto' place to now stay in Ambleside. 10/10!
