Charming, modern hotel in an excellent location within the city center. The staff was excellent, particularly in Bar American, but everyone was quite helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The staff went above and beyond, great customer service. We visited Amsterdam for our honeymoon and the location was perfect, walking distance to a lot of attractions. Our room had a balcony with a nice view, everything was clean everyday during our stay. 10/10 recommend.

The hotel is ok, clean, very easy to get to all the Amsterdam attractions. I didn’t like the mattress, it was too firm for my taste. Hard to control the temperature, the bathroom was always cold, the room had a radiator and we kept it on warm. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant everyday. The breakfast was good but we encountered a very obnoxious waiter. The rest of the staff was very nice and polite.

Such a lovely stay and great first introduction to our stay in the Netherlands. Tram is easily accessible. Plenty of great food and shopping options minutes away from the hotel. Great view of the canals. You will not regret your stay here at Clayton. Cafe and breakfast was incredible and very much an option that is well worth it. Room was always kept clean as per request. Definitely recommending to any person who is staying within Amsterdam

The hotel rooms were small had to call them to change the sheets bc they didn’t put clean sheets on when we got their they were dirty so I complained. Walls are thin you heard everything and everyone. Our bathroom wall was leaking not sure why and after you use the shower it sounded like the shower was on bc it was so noisy even when you turned it off

As a solo traveler I loved this hotel, the location perfect making most destinations walkable or just a short ride via Uber. The staff was very friendly and most importantly I felt safe, I would absolutely recommend and consider staying here again

Everything was good except that the level of noise was pretty high. You can easily hear the music outside or when someone at a room next to you talks. There was somewhere outside that played music every night until 3 am and I wasn’t able to sleep by that time.
