The hotel is conveniently located in the old part of the city. While the room was clean and the bathroom is renovated, the rest of the property is quite dated and the stairs are steep and steps are narrow (as in many older houses in the area). There are many restaurants with outdoor station around Rembrandt square where the hotel is located, that could be noisy at night.

Everything in this hotel worked very well. My only suggestion: shared showers- drains should be opened up or cleared more so shower water can drain faster. If you try to use the shared shower right after someone, you have to wait until the drain clears, which can take some time.

A hotel that “is what it is”. It’s a very convenient location. Everyone says the stairs are steep. Correct. If you have mobility issues, don’t stay here.

I was awoken at 5am by people speaking out on the street - the hotel is located above bars. The noise from other residents in the hallway also disturbed me and I usually am a heavy sleeper. My bed sheets had many hairs on them and the overall interior was worn. The interactions I had with the front of desk were great and they were very helpful but I would not stay here again.

Really enjoyed this place - location was great because so much was around it. Stairs and small and almost vertical lol. No air conditioning, just a big window to the square, which, in Early September was only kinda busy until 4am so hopefully you like crowd chatter all night or have booze cancelling headphones.

The room was a little rundown and the stairs are ancient and very steep (no elevator) so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. But it was clean and (because back window) astonishingly quiet, given the central location. Staff was super friendly!
