This hotel is in a great location for getting around Amsterdam. It's a nice hotel, but currently has scaffolding around a large part of the building. I had specifically booked a room with a canal view. The room we had been pre-allocated had scaffolding - luckily we were reallocated a room which had a view. The room was reasonably clean. We visited the hotel bar on three occasions. The first evening was lovely, we were served promptly and professionally by Dennis, sadly our experience on the next two evening with other staff was not as good. The staff were exceptionally slow and on our last evening we ordered a starter and two main courses - it all arrived at the same time, and yet again it took at least 25 minutes to get a drink.

Hi extremely disappointed with my stay I booked a canal view and paid extra for this room type when I finally arrived in my room I found that the view was completely blocked out by scaffolding due to repairs - at no time during booking or check in was I advised that the hotel was under repair

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza Victoria! It’s convenient to the central station and the major attractions of the city are easily accessible by bus, tram or walking. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and while the standard room was a bit small we acknowledged that it was perfect as a peaceful respite from the busy streets and overall it was quiet and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel, but having paid extra for a canal view, I was not impressed that the exterior of the hotel was under construction leaving me with no view. Also, the bathroom has a gorgeous deep soaking tub, but the faucet would be better suited to a sink. After running water for 45 minutes the tub had at most 9 inches of what in it. Right across from the central station, which is good, but a very busy, noisy neighbourhood.
