This was such a great property. You complete most of checking before arrival so actually getting your keys is a quick and easy process. The lovely gentleman who was working during check in was friendly knowledgeable and went out of his way to help me with my bags which was very much appreciated.
There’s coffee /tea and water available after 12pm in the dining area which was the nicest I’ve seen at any property.
The score for my stay would have been higher but there were some small areas of cleanliness/ attention to detail that kept it dfrom getting 5 stars. The bottoms of the doors could use a paint refresh and there were bleach stains on the carpet in the hallways. The ceiling tiles in my rooms bathroom also showed some water damage.
But overall the room was plenty big enough for one person, including all the important features. A great benefit of the hotel is its location. It was about 15 minutes to museum square and about 30 to the edge of the tourist section. There are plenty of restaurant/cafe options nearby. And because the hotel is a little outside tourist areas it’s little quieter but also the restaurants were a little nicer as frequented by locals which is always a plus.
