The beach is very beautiful! The hotel needs some updates in the rooms, the food somewhat repetitive but it was a good stay, hotel is located about 2 1/2 hours from Rio, but it’s definitely worth the visit

I did not realize this was primarily a family resort with lots of kids. The beach was lovely and there were lots of chairs--but there were no areas to escape all the kids. the food was marginal. we would not stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone other than a family.

Recommended especially for families with kids
I was in Sao Paulo and decided to visit Angra dos Reis. Since I have 3 kids I was looking for something more familiar and could not make a better choice. This hotel has everything you need and great facilities. We had a great time in this hotel and will definitively plan to return once in Brazil again.

Beautiful hotel with a private beach
Pleasant stay, got a nice, comfortable and quiet room. Hotel facilities are very good, service as well although staff insufficient for the volume of work on very busy days. Food is good, drinks offered could be better. Only thing that bothered me was that water in the room is replaced only every second day. Little un-necessary and innefficient attempt to reduce costs, all guests were still getting bottles of water from one of the bars available in the hotel.

COLD pool water and food repetitive
The water of the swimming pools are cold. They don't use any kind of heaters for the water. It was impossible to use the pools! We were on March 19 to 27 (autumn). The food was not bad, but almost everyday is the same food. They only change a couple of choices, but almost all is the same. They don't offer hamburgers. In 8 days, only 1 day we could eat a hamburger!

Angra Dos Reis all inclusive
June - the place was empty. literally 30 people at the most. I don't know how they do it. Location is beautiful. Condition of the hotel is excellent. Great set up for kids. Nice gym, pool. Food was always good and the A La Carte restaurant was fantastic. Very clean and very friendly staff.

Atendimento péssimo
O hotel é bom, comida muito boa, mas o atendimento é péssimo! Tirando a equipe da recepção que nos atendeu muito bem, os demais colaboradores trabalham de cara amarrada, sempre mau humorados, principalmente as pessoas do restaurante principal, algumas chegam a ser grosseiras com os hóspedes. As toalhas da piscina sempre estão em falta e demoram horas para repor. A ceia de Natal que deveria durar até meia noite acabou 23h. Deixou muito a desejar.

Fim de semana em Vila Gale Angra dos Reis
Estive hospedada por 3 diárias, hotel de acesso único, com praia exclusiva. Calma, sem ondas, ideal para crianças e esportes aquáticos (jet ski, stand up paddle remo). Infraestrutura de lazer impecável (piscina grande, bar da piscina com bom atendimento, quadras de areia (vôlei, beach tênis e futebol), salão de jogos etc. Monitoria para adultos e crianças de qualidade. Shows à noite, cada dia um estilo de música diferente, realizados próximo à praia. Em uma das noites choveu muito, mas prontamente remanejaram o show para a área interna no hotel, evitando que a atração fosse comprometida. Colaboradores atenciosos. Café da manhã bem variado e gostoso. Almoço e jantar gostosos, porém, exceto o cardápio temático da noite, a variedade é sempre a mesma, principalmente as sobremesas, que não são tão saborosas. Bebidas servidas bem variadas e de qualidade, sucos naturais a disposição. Quarto espaçoso, camas confortáveis, ar condicionado e chuveiro maravilhosos. Dois pontos a destacar: - ausência de uma tomada 20 amperes no banheiro para uso de secador de cabelo, eu por exemplo sempre levo o meu nas viagens, visto que os disponibilizados pelo hotel são fracos; - pouca iluminação no quarto. O mesmo é feito basicamente pelos abajures e arandela na parede do quarto. Senti muita falta de iluminação no teto do quarto e no banheiro. Demos o azar de 2 dos dias choverem, mas pudemos usufruir de todas a estrutura que o hotel oferece. Apesar destes pontos, recomendo e voltaria.
