The property was great (2’nd stay), but the front office is a few blocks away. Upon check-in, they literally jumped into the driver’s seat of our car and drove us to our accommodations, checking out was quite different. We were in Annapolis for the boat show and we stayed in town so we wouldn’t have to deal with parking. Sunday morning we called the front desk and asked if they could hold our bags for a few hours??? NO was the incredulous answer. Not only wouldn’t they keep our bags, but they would t pick us up. We had to schlep our bags several blocks with our bags to the main office to get our car & check out. We were on a much longer trip, we fit this in the middle so we had full size bags (thankfully rollies) and my wife has spinal stenosis and was waiting for her surgery date. Never for $400 a night have I had such bad customer service.

Absolutely loved our stay. You can’t ask for a better location for a stay in Annapolis. Walk to everything and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

I do not like hidden charges. Expedia and their hotel should disclose all fees so then I'm not surprised when I walk in with things like historical preservation fees. Not fair.

The charm and location of the hotel were second to none. We were right in the heart of town. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants. I loved seeing the history of the hotel. It was so charming, especially all decorated for Christmas! Unfortunately, our bed was very hard and very uncomfortable and my husband and I did not sleep well at all.

Beautiful but not happy with unexpected expenses.
Old Annapolis is lovely and the historic inn(s) are very cool. An issue with check in was easily resolved (unacceptable odor in room and was given immediate replacement.) What I didn't understand and wasn't clear to me were ALL the extra fees. In addition to tax there is a $30 "Historic hotel fee". and in addition to that, it is $40 to park your car at the hotel. Alternative is to park yourself, many blocks away in a public lot. So, in the end, my $125 room booking cost $210. I was pretty surprised, and not in a great way. Still, the historic town is fantastic, very walkable, and the inn(s) are lovely. So, as long as you catch the VERY high fees and are prepared for the parking, it is a lovely stay.
