Lovely cabin stay!
This was a delightful cabin, nestled in a stunning forest. The space was comfortable and well set up. We loved staying here in September, and went on a walk nearby at the Historic Pines Trail that ended with the Kennebec River all to ourselves, hearing a moose in the distance. My only feedback would be to add some lamps or other soft lighting – the overhead lights were a bit harsh once the sun went down.

Travelled with family
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The cabin was very cool, unique and rustic. Big logs and wide floor boards throughout. There was plenty of room for our family (all adults: parents and three 30ish youngsters!). We did not take any of the trails or use the firepit. It was very remote, which was both good and bad, as we were also attending a two day event about 40 minutes away. There were a few things that need attention from the owner, but the owner was very responsive and said they will be addressed right away. It was VERY hot while we were there, but with the air conditioning, the cabin was very comfortable. Even though the cabin is remote (which we do like!) it still had WiFi, so another plus.
