We loved our stay here. Qur rooms had windows which faced the volcanoes. It was quite awesome. We ate at the restaurant, breakfast was delish. We loved listening to the live marimba music.

I loved the network of interconnected gardens , the view of the volcano from my bedroom window, and proximity to the Arco de Santa Catalina. The staff were also very nice and helpful.

This is a great hotel. It's beautiful and the staff is super friendly. I would only recommend that you request an inside room. If you get a room on the outer part (meaning the windows access the outside of the hotel), then be ready to hear all the noise happening in the area. The people walking by and talking and cars going by. But aside from that, I would recommend this hotel.

I had some issues upon my initial arrival that were primarily self inflicted. The whole hotel staff went above and beyond to correct all of the situations. I would highly recommend staying here. The surrounding area here is beautiful and I would also highly recommend that you take a Viator chicken bus tour if you have the opportunity.

Overpriced
The architecture and gardens are delightful, the staff very friendly and helpful but the rooms haven’t changed in fifty years that is the first time that we stayed in the hotel the only change we noticed was that with a little bit of luck we get a wifi signal to read an email, overall this place is overpriced compared with same category hotels in Antigua

The staff went out of their way to treat us kindly. The hospitality was the best we have ever had. Best to get rooms off on the interior sides as there is a bit of road noise if you are against the street.
