Someone walked into our room while we were changing and getting ready to leave even though we had a do not disturb sign up. There was no water they told us it was bc of the city but then as soon as we went back to the room it was back on. The staff were extremely rude, there was a crackhead sitting outside being very shady. We asked for a do not disturb sign on our door and they said there was a magnet but we check again and there wasn’t one so we told them again there was not one but they got an attitude and said well then just write a note in your door so we know not to clean today we finally raised hell and they gave us one. Apparently when we were getting ready to leave and that person walked into our room unannounced she told us it was bc someone checked out of room 214 which was our room so they had to come clean it but we hadn’t checked out yet and I think that’s so unsafe and ridiculous they should’ve checked to make sure that was the correct room bc clearly it wasn’t.

The room looked renovated yet the carpet was old, dingy, filthy and the room smelled of mold. I had to cover my nose and mouth with wipes with a scent. The outside was filthy which I could notice till the next morning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I did not go due to a hurricane coming the next day and tried to cancel by calling the hotel directly before 4pm the day before. Then called Expedia after and spoke with someone at 4:15 who also could not get ahold of anyone to cancel so I was charged full price for a room I never went because of a coming storm I had no control of.
