4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, sleeps 10, with panoramic mountain and sea views
A seamless marriage of nature and design, Villa Kaminia's modern architecture set against the dramatic backdrop of the White Mountains is enough to dazzle any visitor.
Villa Kaminia is a brand new villa, recently built in the beautiful village of Agioi Pantes in the Apokoronas region of Chania. The combined use of high quality natural materials (wood, stone, iron, marble) in both the construction and furnishing of the house makes this accommodation more than unique!
The entrance from the driveway takes you to mid-level, where you will find two twin bedrooms (two twin beds each) one bathroom and the impressive, indoor-outdoor pool. The pool starts from this level, passes through the house, and ends outdoors. Those residing on this level can literally walk out their bedroom door and step directly into the pool. One of two bedrooms can comfortably accommodate elderly or disabled people – the bathroom is especially designed for such cases.
Descending the stairs to the lower level, you will find two more bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. All beds have cocomat mattresses and individual, wood-floored patios with wonderful views. The four bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 people.
Heading to the upper level, you will ascend a majestic staircase constructed of iron and wood, complete with a moving-ramp for disabled access, located to one side. Here on the upper floor is a spacious, modern kitchen and dining table, built from floor to ceiling with Swedish wood, truly a sight for kitchen lovers. The kitchen is fully equipped, offering anything you may need, including a wine preserver!
On the same level, there is a cozy, richly decorated sitting room, with a deluxe mattress sofa-bed which can accommodate two more guests. In the same room, there is a big desk, which has the capability of turning into a closet, for times when the room is used as a bedroom.
All the indoor spaces have large windows, bringing sunlight into the house all day long and highlighting the spectacular views of the surrounding area.
The pool is accompanied by a stone path, which starts from the main entrance at the back of the house and ends poolside at the front, overlooking the White Mountains to the left and Souda Bay to the right. The wooden deck which looks down on the pool from one level up offers an even more spectacular vantage of sea, olive groves and mountains, a trademark combination of Cretan topography.
THE HEATED POOL IS OFFERED WITH AN EXTRA CHARGE OF 210 EUR/WEEK
