Stunning modern villa in the breathtakingly beautiful Serra Do Açor mountains of Central Portugal by the banks of the River Alva (Praia Fluvial de Cascalheira). Although the house is contemporary in design it has all of the major comforts of home and excellent cooking and eating facilities. You benefit from the privacy of extensive gardens, a swimming pool and plenty of relaxation areas, including a rustic outdoor kitchen complete with built-in BBQ. All bed linens are included plus towels for both bathroom and poolside use.
There are bars and a restaurant within walking distance and the river beach nearby is excellent for water-based activities.
The villa is located 3km from the town of Arganil. Here you will find all the usual amenities (supermarkets, independent shops, restaurants and bars.
The historic city of Coimbra is approximately 45 minutes drive away and we are around an hour from the Atlantic beaches.

Fantastic holiday villa
Have just spent two weeks at this villa with my family and grandchildren. All had a fantastic time and was lovely to meet the owners on arrival and a very welcome welcome pack in the villa. Will definitely be visiting Casa Mondora in the future.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au sein de cette villa exceptionnelle où nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Karen et Heath. L’extérieur de la maison est très agréable et très bien entretenue, la piscine est indispensable avec les chaleurs estivales ! Nous remercions encore une fois nos hôtes qui ont été présents en cas de questionnements ou de problèmes. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse !
