Courtyard doesn’t care for handicapped guests.
We requested a ya dicapped accessible room a couple months ago when we booked. Since my mother has been in a wheelchair for many years we have stayed in such rooms with many different lodging chains. This room was on the 3rd floor. What if there was a fire or if the elevator wasn’t operational? A bumpy bathroom threshold required someone to tilt the chair each time she needed in/out. No way to roll in. And even the door to the room was tough for us to operate and keep open while moving the chair in and out. The ONLY accessible features were rails by the bathtub. Yep. No way to get in to shower. Maybe Courtyard met the letter of the law, but did not in any way provide an accessible room.

I was told I could pay cash at the hotel for my room. They would not check me in. I had to get shuttle bus xervice to Walmart to buy a prepaid Visa card . That makes no sense if I damaged anything the card only had $120 on it!! I was told room was $94. They charged me &120.
