Cozy cottage in the woods
This is a great location to access Bear Valley Ski Resort. Also, there are nearby hiking and mountain biking trails we really enjoyed. Neighborhood was quiet. This property has everything you need, not to mention being pet friendly. Owner is very responsive and answers questions quickly, and is also very kind. I left some important prescriptions behind, and he made sure I received them back promptly. Much appreciated! We plan to return next ski season.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Murphy's cabin. It appeared as listed. We appreciated the warm blankets and board games. Great location and the best part was we could bring our dog with us. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The Winter Home
This was our fifth visit to Murphy’s Cottage, and our kids have lovingly nicknamed it "the winter home" since we make annual trips. The cabin is always clean and well-kept, and its location is perfect—close to the main road and nearby stores. It’s equipped with central heating and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, which we love to relax by after a day in the snow at Bear Valley. Plus, it’s just a 35-minute drive to the slopes, making it a convenient and comfortable retreat.

Arnold cabin
We had a great trip to Arnold with our 3 kids on Christmas weekend. The house is beautiful and was in the most convenient location close to the market and restaurants. The house was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin, great location
Many windows in this cabin sitting among tall trees give you plenty of light. The views of the trees around you soothes the eyes. Open kitchen/living area makes it feel spacious and light. Convenient floor plan makes you comfortable. Parking is easy, you don’t need to back up and there is no steep hill. Close to highway but yet serene and peaceful. Communication with the host is easy and quick. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful & Peaceful Escape
The kids had their first Fall break this year, so we decided to escape the subarbs for the Redwoods. Fantastic host, the best we ever had. William was kind and accommodating. Wonderful Spot
We decided to get out of town for my wife's birthday and found this cute little cabin that would allow dogs! It was everything we could have asked for! The neighborhood we very quiet and the deck was perfect with no neighbors that you could see. We sat out there and played card games.

This is our second year staying here. We've enjoyed the space very much, and it's in a great location to lakes and big trees park. This year we noticed dog hair around (not from us), but it doesn't bother us and it's worth it to have a pet friendly place when you need to bring your dog! We hope to return again next year!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This was our fourth time staying at this property. We loved our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. The timing was perfect; we got overnight snow two nights in a row and the kids were able to play and sled in the yard. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great location
Located just minutes to one on my husband’s favorite place to eat. Snow shoe brewery ( great burgers) and 10 + minutes to Murphys. Just a little disappointed how everything is changed in downtown Murphy’s. The selection of food is not to par like it used to be. Traveled with our two older dogs. It would be nice if the property was partially fenced because during the day I like doggies to be outside. Also, my older doggy had problems with the floors a little slippery for her bad hip but we used a moving blanket to put on the floor along with their beds and they were fine. The property is quaint and rustic. Basic but with higher end, appliances and updated electrical switches, and plenty fans. Games, bean bags and Krueger coffee maker bring your pods. My favorite wood burning fireplace place so bring your wood and matches. Plus a nice outdoor large deck to sit and read or just relax. Or outdoor picnic with barbecue grill and picnic table
