The rooms are very dated and structurally the buildings are in need of some repairs, there are steel posts outside the buildings where the base has completely rotted away leaving a gap that you could put your hand in.

Edgewater Resort was fabulous. Clean safe, great restaurant area for breakfast and outdoor area's to sit and whale watch. Trina was especially helpful and welcoming in the restaurant bar area a real asset to Edgewater. Will definitely be staying there again.

This place was very disappointing and so overpriced for what we got! The room was so old, uncomfortable and the bathroom would flood. For paying $500 per night you would expect amazing service. Had to pay $50 for wifi... because they had special nights on you couldnt sit indoors for dinner they would tell you to sit outside in the rain with no undercover then when requested room service they charged us $15 per person. Very overpriced for what you get wouldnt recommend it, there were so many nicer hotels we made use of.

Front desk is not friendly at all.. for someone who is the first one to greet the guest I think they can use a little bit more customer facing service training. First impression lasts. Thankfully, the security who helped us show our room was a gentleman and very kind to help answer our questions since front desk reception was not clear about it. Property is beautiful but could use a little updating hopefully in the future.

Poor facilities for price. No water bottles in room. High daily rate and need to pay a ridiculous price for internet that barely works. Worst internet service I can remember and not included in rate. Still in the dark ages for no reason. They have a fibre network at their front door! Breakfast buffet is ridiculous. Worse I seen in decades.

The staff were friendly & welcoming. The food and entertainment was excellent. Great spot for children and for people who like snorkeling. Easy hop on off bus to get around the island.
