First stay in the Lancelot since renovations and very pleasantly surprised! Looks bright and inviting and the rooms are much improved. I love this hotel and the area with a great beach across the road and would thoroughly recommend it. With a few additions (maybe more toiletries and a kettle in the room) I am certain it could be 4 Star. The staff are all very helpful and friendly but I would particularly like to thank Alvaro, who was so helpful at my check in and departure. He is a real star! My only slight disappointment (and obviously not the hotel's fault) I couldn't sleep with the balcony door open as I like to do as there was so much noise from the tractor on the beach(!) very early in the mornings and also very noisy people in the area outside the hotel late at night.

Excellent Hotel
Second time staying at this hotel. First time was with a group of friends, this time it was solo. Will certainly return again. Rooms spacious and cleaned daily. Bar man at the pool bar was friendly and welcoming. Great choice for breakfast every morning.

Very good value for the price, the location is excellent and the room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful view of the ocean. The only negative is that it didn't have kettle and tea/coffee. Receptionist was extremely helpful at check in.

The Hotel was lovely and in a great location, the roof top pool with sunbeds were always quiet so not a problem to get a bed, also a good bar on the roof. We only took breakfast which was very good, a large selection so would suit everybody. Room was really good with big fluffy towels, pay extra for a room with sea view, definitely well worth it. Second time in this hotel and it will not be the last.

The stay was really good. Slight problems were the noise from road works outside, which seem nearly complete and if l was to be petty ' No draught beer ' but it is a lovely place to stay.

All the basics were there and the service staff was outstanding. Restaurant food very nice and good value for money. Located just in front of the beach, a pity road works were progressing just outside. For a 3 star quite good

Was put on the ground floor and the room is super small. The A/C is running air fan in the night. No ice or tea pot in the room. The front desk can't speak English. Hard to navigate and communicate. However, the staffs working in buffet are super friendly. One of them can speak English.

Paid extra for a sea view at this hotel. When we arrived they were digging up all the pavements outside in front of our room and the beach. The hotel said nothing about this before we arrived or when we checked in. When asking about moving room they said they were full and could do nothing about it. The work stated at 7 am every morning with diggers lorries delivering concrete and drilling Outside the hotel the paths were diverted and there was dust and dirt everywhere The bars and restaurants looked out onto this so you had to go further into town when going out for a drink It ruined our holiday and the hotel accepted no responsibility or offered no compensation
