Lovely older style Hotel accommodation with charm and character. We enjoyed the clean comfortable rooms and your Restaurant service was excellent.
However the front access to your Hotel is disappointing with a plethora of discarded cigarette butts littering the access.

Very enjoyable, served my purpose, thank you Arochar Hotel
I stopped in Arrochar Hotel on a way back home. My room was comfortable and clean with a a lovely view over the loch. The building itself is grand but would benefit from updating as it's in a lovely location. The service and staff very friendly and helpful. I didn't expect an evening entertainment but it's great that people from local area come here to meet.

Hotel very old - lovely but needs a lot of work. Not enough parking and limited menu. Quite expensive in the restaurant. Charging like it was a much better restaurant than it was. More like a very old pub lounge.
Comfortable spacious room, lovely view. We ate at the small restaurant next door and had the most incredible food so I can’t comment on the hotel’s food! Efficient friendly staff. Would return - recommended :)
Beautiful location, perfect for exploring the surrounding hills. Clean and friendly, superb breakfast. Room slightly noisy due to regular passing timber lorries throughout the night. Evening restaurant service ended at 8.15pm, which meant the kitchen was closed when I returned from a day out, though they kindly managed to sort me something.
Affordable with fabulous views over the loch from the room. Beds were standard size singles, and the ensuite had a very awkward layout.
We could hear tv/muffled conversations from neighbouring rooms - especially bad when two neighbours were watching the same tv show (one slightly delayed) meant the sound was weirdly reinforced. Fortunately the noise stopped well before 11. We were woken up around 7 by creaking floorboards and footsteps from the room above.
Not much else in the village in the way of shops/cafes, but fortunately the hotel restaurant had quite good food, although quite expensive for what it was.
The hotel was beautiful and the history is amazing. The staff were lovely especially the head waiter wearing his stag tie pin.
The showers are difficult to work out and the bath hard to climb in and out from.
The View was excellent. The food was divine.
So glad we stayed

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Good hotel with excellent views
Large room with a lovely view of the loch and surrounding mountains. Menu looked good but we ate elsewhere, which was a mistake. Pleasant, comfortable lounge, nice bar with friendly bar staff.
The property is located on an attractive spot on Loch Long where one can walk a path to enjoy the views. However, the hotel is in grave need of an update. Carpets are old and worn, walls appear water damaged, things smell musty. The rooms are extremely small and it’s difficult to fit your suitcase through the doors. There was a hole in the ceiling above our tub, toilets didn’t flush well, nighttime truck traffic woke us up, and neighboring patrons were extremely loud, banging doors at early hours. This stay was sub-par and not worthy of a holiday experience.
