Very mixed.
Some reviews on this and other websites suggest the owner to be unfriendly. At first he was. We arrived for check-in at 16.30 to be told curtly that we had to check-in before 15.00 or after 18.00 because they were closed between these times - yes, like we should have known this because such information is on the website (no it isn't)! - but he then checked us in because he was there and then kindly explained local walks and sites and was very friendly. The rooms are on the whole cleanish, but don't look too closely. A major problem for us was that they were really very musty (which gave my asthmatic wife severe problems). On a plus side, dinner was really very tasty - but the portions of the basic carbohydrate (pasta, potatoes) was so incredibly small that we were both really hungry afterwards despite eating lots of bread. Real pity. There is a newer hotel about 1km further up the valley which is not yet on hotels.com but whose competition may improve things here.

nous avons passé 2 nuits super là bas. Asco est un village sympa et l'hotel Acropole est situé face à la vallée avec une vue.....Les propriétaires sont super sympa et bravo au cuisinier...Le petit dijo local est à connaitre !! yann et jean mi

Incantevole, silenzio e relax. Ristrutturato di recente è sicuramente una buona base per visitare Pisa e dintorni. Dovrebbero aprire il ristorante a breve.

Qualité de la chambre
Avis négatif sur la chambre car la salle d'eau n'est pas pratique, trop petite et à renover. Pas de chaise ou de commode pour poser ses affaires et pas de tapis pour s'essuyer les pieds surtout lorsque l'hôtel possède une piscine. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas d'ailleurs le réseau n'était pour la plupart du temps pas décelé.

Au bout de la route
Au pied du Monte Cinto, un village perché au bout de la route, un site magnifique bien desservi par cet hôtel familial, plein de charmes, petite piscine idéale pour se rafraichir après la marche ou la route, cuisine très locale délicieuse, accueil très sympathique, manque juste un peu de place dans la chambre pour poser ses bagages. Visitez les environs, et ne loupez pas le pont génois d'Asco avec sa gigantesque marmite!
