Asheville for three night concert series
Very close to downtown with many dining options close by, but a feel of being in the mountains. Quiet setting and very comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view
Just really hard to get to at night, no lights and it was really precarious. Only draw back. Property and house were great and property manager was very helpful when I was in distress.

Overall a good and comfortable place that was close to Asheville and some hikes. The steep and narrow drives are definitely a challenge.

Great house and location
This house was cozy and comfortable. Great for our family of four. Convenient to downtown. Though if you have a big truck, bike rack and 4 bikes the driveway/neighborhood is a little difficult to navigate (doable but difficult). :)

Wonderful mountain retreat
This is a wonderful place to stay. I've stayed in a lot of rentals and this one is very well-thought out and mindful. If I had a need (a certain kind of pot, an extra towel, a blanket...) I just had to look around to find it. You can tell the owners care about their guests. We enjoyed our stay so much and we're grateful for all the care that went into the place.

Beautiful property and super convenient to downtown. Definitely recommend bringing a smaller vehicle or being very comfortable with driving through narrow, windy roads. But would 10/10 recommend this stay.

Property as Described
No surprises. The property was as described. Close to town, yet a true mountain experience. Very quite, serene, and private. Access by road to the property was not an issue. My son's Kia Soul, and my rear wheel drive Lexus, made it up and down the mountain with ease. The unit was spotless, with comfortable beds, and a modern kitchen. Large porch was nice for those picture perfect mornings. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Fantastic find!
This house was perfect for our weekend getaway to Asheville. We loved that it was so close to town yet felt like you were up in the mountains. It was easy to get to downtown and also wasn’t far to get on the parkway and hike. The description of the house and how to get to it was accurate. It had everything we needed and we will come back again.

Lovely chalet close to everything!
A great stay in a clean and charming little chalet tucked into the side of a mtn in town. Surrounded by gorgeous trees and other little chalets. It is not an easy drive up the winding roads so go slow and be smart. But it’s worth the effort. Stocked well with plenty of kitchen dishes and cooking supplies. Dish soap, paper towels, dish towels, sponges, shampoo, bath towels, extra blankets and pillows and lots of nightlights - nice touch! We enjoyed our coffee in the morning sitting in the rockers on the front porch. Ingles grocery store is nearby and downtown Asheville is very close too. Perfect location. The best part was when we left for dinner one evening and saw a mama black bear and her 5 large cubs meandering the hillside nearby. So exciting. Beds were comfortable. Would suggest mabe some better pillows in the primary bedroom. Dog bowls for our pup was a nice touch too! Thanks Ron & Darlene!

Chalet
The cabin was simply furnished but had everything we needed: stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great location. We had a little trouble finding it, but, once we got used to the narrow roads, it was easy to get in and out. Our initial problem of not being able to use the pass code to get in was immediately rectified by the manager. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Fabulous stay in Asheville
We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at the Lucerne Chalet. The property is exactly as described and more! The house is located very close to all that Asheville has to offer, but is nestled in the mountainside. The house is clean and comfortable, and the kitchen included all the amenities that we needed for our stay. They even left out bowls for our dog's food and water. So thoughtful! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cozy very clean house
The house was just as described; it was very clean with upscale appliances. The only downside was that we felt we were shoehorned in. The roads were very narrow and it took us a while to figure out how to get to the house; however, this was all in the description so there were no surprises. We would definitely stay there again.

Alpen chalet
To get to the cabins you had to drive up a very steep narrow road. The place was much more difficult to get to than expected. The half bath was also much smaller than I expected. I did appreciate the cabin being stocked with coffee, dish soap, hand soap, etc. The fireplace didn’t work. I think it was out of propane.

Asheville Fall getaway
Sweet cabin hideaway in the mountains, near the Biltmore & Omni Golf resort. Perfect location for us. 4 WD recommended, but smaller vehicle. Near to the Ingles grocery store & olive garden. We golfed at a spectacular course@ the Omni resort & ate at the Edison only a short shuttle up the hill. Fantastic vacation surrounded by beautiful trees. 😍

Mountainside Retreat
This place was described in pictures and in real time just as I hoped for. A great place to feel close enough to Asheville, yet like it was a vacation in the mountains. Do believe what they say about arriving during daylight. It was a very narrow and winding road. Everything provided was very nice.

Great location--comfortable
We enjoyed our stay here--had everything we needed--the only improvement I would suggest is letting tenants know which door is the one to enter. Perhaps I missed it somewhere, but I didn't see it specified. There are a total of 4 doors with keypads so it would be nice to know which to enter. We would stay here again!

So close, yet so far
Property & surroundings were as described. No surprises. It was a peaceful, easy vacation. The road to the home is narrow and winding, but short & easy to get used to driving. I was glad my initial arrival was during daylight. After a drive or 2, the path was much easier. The home is nestled on a hillside that overlooks nature and offers a mountain feel, but it's also just a few minutes ride to restaurants, groceries, gas & downtown. Darlene even provided a discount number for the local grocery! Access to Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore estate, and Grove Park Inn was also easy (& beautiful drives). In the quiet of night, you may hear some city sounds. You may also hear bears looking for food. However, the home came w/very specific instructions regarding bears. Follow the basic instructions & you may not even see one (but you are in the mountains). The home was clean and stocked w/some essentials. The enclosed doggy path alongside the house was super convenient early in the morning & late at night. A binder of key information was provided and very helpful. Check-in & check-out instructions were equally as helpful. Darlene provided good information & was responsive. I recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again. The neighbors were quiet, the home is centrally located, and the views are wonderful (especially from the front porch). Go and enjoy!

Amazing Weekend at Lucerne Chalet
My wife and I had an amazing weekend at this home. It’s proximity to downtown is so close, but you feel so far away and secluded (in a good way). The communication from property owner was excellent, the home was clean, and well stocked with all necessities. We were hoping to see a bear but it didn’t happen this weekend. The only challenge with the location (not the property’s fault) is the roads can be tough for ride-shares or food deliveries to figure out. That took some extra explaining to drivers, but wasn’t a big deal!
