72 Hours in Asheville
The Swiss Chalet in Asheville was an excellent home base and incredibly convenient to town, yet feels totally private. Nestled up in a hill the city views from the living and dining room could not be beat! We were welcomed with cookies, a guest book, and a cozy, comfy, well appointed cottage. Our dogs were included in the welcome with a fuzzy bed, treats, bowls, towels and blankies galore (even though we brought our own to protect the furniture)! Overall we loved our stay and would rebook for a return visit. Having only 72 hours, we were able to hike, bike, and enjoy the RAD area. Our recommendations include Well Bred Bakery (the molasses cookie is amazing), Biscuit Head is NOT to be missed, and take a class at Ignite Jewelry Studio (Amy and Tiffany are the best!). If you need a coffee break, Ultra’s double shot latte is the perfect pick me up.
