Just minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment and outdoor adventures, this rural retreat in the Avery’s Creek Community is a sanctuary of peacefulness. Along with the horses in the pasture you are bound to see wild turkeys and deer and hear bull frogs on summer nights.
Your Private Hot Tub is on a covered porch with a spectacular view of the mountains from the spacious lounge seats. This spa hot tub features 31 jets and 2 full body seats.

Your fully equipped private bungalow overlooks our private fishing pond and horse pasture. You can take a short hike on the wooded property, fish for trout, bass and brim or plan your day sipping coffee on the porch and end it sitting around a warm campfire sharing stories from your day’s adventure.

This convenient location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Your romantic get-away is located just 10 minutes from the Mountains to Sea Trail, water sports on the French Broad River, hiking and biking at Bent Creek and the NC Arboretum. You are 10 minutes from dining, shopping and entertainment at Biltmore Park and Sierra Nevada Brewery, 15 minutes from the airport, North Mills River National Forest Recreation Area, and the Asheville Outlet Mall and 20 minutes from West Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, the River Arts District and Downtown Asheville.

Special amenities that can be arranged through the owners for an additional fee include: 1) Horse boarding for up to 2 horses during your stay. We will be happy to take you on a guided tour of some of our favorite riding trails in North and South Mills River, DuPont State Forest or Davidson River Recreation Area. 2) Guided hiking or trout fishing.

Great property!
Donna is a great host with a great cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin was as advertised, and Donna even took the time to leave us a personal note upon arrival. The fridge even included a few beers from local breweries. She is also quickly available via text if questions arise. I highly recommend!

Very cute cabin up and out of town. Very private. Cabin filled with everything you need. But the owners are beyond special. While we were there, tropical storm Helene came through. We decided to leave a few days early because of the threat of the storm not allowing us to get back to Minnesota. Nobody could’ve known how bad it was going to be. Regardless, we were reimbursed for the days we did not stay. We did not expect reimbursement, and didn’t ask for it. We understood that this was a one in a thousand year storm. We pray for their property and well being In the midst of utter destruction everywhere around them. I hope many in the future will consider staying here, as they certainly have earned it through the care of their property, excellent communication, and doing everything the right way. Many blessings to Curtis and Donna.

This was a first trip to NC. This cabin was located in a beautiful area so close to Asheville. We loved the beauty and peacefulness about this location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, enjoying coffee. The hot tub was such a wonderful addition. This cozy cabin was very clean and we appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful little touches that Donna had left for us! We'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Great space for couples to unwind
This was the first trip my boyfriend and I had gone on together, and it was a great success! We stayed for a week, and all we needed to do was swing by a nearby grocery store for the few meals we ate out on the screened in porch. The house was tidy, and already included toiletries and kitchenware along with pots and pans. The property is very calm and has sufficient privacy, while also being close enough to the hosts should any issues arise. Donna is a wonderful host, ready to help with suggestions on the area and is attentive to any communication needed to make with her.

Couples getaway
This house was perfect for a couples getaway . The home was clean, well stocked and owners even left some treats for us. Coming back to the house after a day of exploring the area was made perfect by the hot tub and screened porch. The property is quiet, secluded yet not a far drive from what we wanted to do. The bed was very comfortable, and all linens and towels smelled fresh and clean! My husband enjoyed catching bass on the pond. I wish we’d had a little more access to the areas around the pond but it wasn’t that big of a deal. We will definitely come back for another weekend in the future!

Lovely view
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Can't say enough about the lovely view of the lake from the screened in porch. We spent a lot of our time reading in the comfortable chairs, taking in the lake view. It was a really relaxing stay. The house accommodations were great. We even got to chat with Donna and her pooch. An all around lovely time away.

My husband and I wanted a little get away. This little cabin was just what we needed. We were so close to everything but felt far enough away that it was perfect. The cabin itself had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable. From the bull frogs at night to the birds chirping in the morning it was the most peaceful weekend. We will definitely be back.The communication with the owner was on point and we couldn’t ask for a better experience.

The Reviews are RIGHT!
I booked this property based on all the previous 5* reviews. I was correct in doing so. Donna messaged me saying we could check in early if wanted. We arrived and everything was exactly as advertised except I mentioned I thought the amenities list included a Keurig which wasn’t present so she brought us one. THAT is service. A primary reason for this booking was the fishing availability. It was awesome! But if you Bass fish I recommend you bring something more than 6lb test to the fight, cuz you’re gonna get just that. We like to visit different places in our travels but this property is definitely on our return list.

Anniversary Getaway
The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway for two. It was secluded enough to feel peaceful in nature but close enough to nearby restaurants and only a 15-20 minute trip to Biltmore/Asheville. Donna went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Super clean and cute! Would 100% stay again.
