Wonderful place, right beside the Flat River
This is a wonderful and convenient place to stay. One can easily walk into the heart of Black Mountain. I have stayed here many times.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 25 years, but this past weekend will be our last. We had to change rooms due to the air unit not working to cool the room. We had people fighting outside of our room late at night, making us feel a little unsafe and the people above us had kids running back and forth late at night and again early in the morning. Not a great experience.

Damp stay
The room was damp. The carpeted floor was damp and it made our clothing, hung on hangers damp as well. The frame of the bed extends beyond the mattress and really caught our knees mutiple times.

I stayed 5 nights for work, I’m a traveling nurse. The bed was bowed in the middle. No room service due to short staff. The breakfast is coffee and packaged muffins. The only good thing was a pool.
