My stay here was quite pleasant. I was away for the weekend with my partner, my best friend and her partner, so we were all booked under the same reference.
The rooms are quite spacious, but our aircon was not working the whole time we were there and the windows have a safety catch on them.
The location is brilliant and the car park is good, although it does fill up quite quickly.
The pool was lovely, as was the sauna and steam room. The hot tub was cold. We were told that it would be fixed the next day; however, it was not.
I was told I had to pay a £50 holding fee via card - not too sure why, as when my friend came, they said it was mandatory and that she did not have to.
The reception staff do not sing from the same hymn sheet. My friend again was told her check out could be extended for up to 2 hours for free, yet once again, I was told I would have to pay up to £10 an hour for a later check out. It made 0 sense.
The breakfast was lovely and the dining staff as well as the gym/pool staff were very accommodating.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, great location, but I’m not too sure if I would come back due to the inconsistencies
