Property was lo ely, clean and well fitted out with a full kitchen. Hot tun and outdoor firepot exactly as advertised. Heads up, the upstairs are a bit challenging to climb if there are any persons in your group with leg issues or who are old. Its pretty steep. Otherwise, excellent place to syay.

Perfect Location!
The Red Chalet was the perfect location for our family while we visited Mt Rainier~ minutes from the entrance. The chalet is cozy and well stocked. We even enjoyed pancakes that were provided with all the ingredients. A gem of a place!

Beware! Worst VRBO Experience Ever
The moment we arrived, the front door was wide open, welcoming us with a swarm of mosquitos. The kitchen is ridiculously small—two people can barely fit! Despite having plenty of beds, there’s nowhere for everyone to relax together. The layout is a disaster, and the TV placement is awful. Only three people can watch at a time!! Sloped ceilings made getting in and out of bed a nightmare. And the hosts? Absolute jerks. Save yourself the trouble—DO NOT RENT this place!

Great family stay near Paradise
My family and I found that the "Red Chalet" met our expectations, and provided plenty of space for the 7 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was a favorite, and the location would be difficult to beat for a Paradise visit. The only issue we had was with the wifi - as can probably be expected for a remote area, the wifi was really spotty, and did not work for us for most of our stay. If you plan to stay here, plan on a great stay with poor internet connection and cell service.

Winter getaway with friends
This is an easy place to stay with lots of friends, including couples. The access to Mt. Rainier is fabulous. My only complaint is that the hot tub had not been cleaned when we arrived. It was cleaned the next day and took awhile to heat up and for the water to settle.

Great Location!!!
The cabin is very comfortable, there were 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 children, and we had plenty of room for sleeping arrangements, games, dining and relaxing. Everything inside the cabin was clean and functional. The cabin was stocked very well with all the necessities including towels, kitchen utensils, condiments, spices, games... The proximity to Mt. Rainier National Park was very convenient too. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant. We would recommend this place to anyone without any hesitation. Thank you.

A Little Piece of Paradise
Comfortable cabin with a spacious layout for larger family with some private rooms for adult kids / spouses. Huge dining table that’s great for games and crafts. Small tv room that keeps the tv noise away from the central gathering area. Deep forest vibe. There are neighbors but the other cabins are spread out and there’s lots of trees providing privacy. Plus walking distance to a large river that’s fun to explore. Bring all your groceries and fill up your gas tank as there are very limited / expensive options for food and supplies.

Friendsgiving
I stayed with 7 friends at the property with our 2 dogs and had such a great time. There’s a huge table for lots of family time and puzzles. The hot tub is nice and private. The cabin is like a 2 minute drive to the Mt Rainier NP entrance too! There’s a gravel road to walk down the street right by the river (cross the gate). The wood stove kept us cozy and the big windows made for lovely mornings. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were set for our coffee and thanksgiving dinner! The beds are a little old but the cabin is very worth the stay. All of us agreed we would consider coming back in the future.

Cozy Mt Rainier cabin
We were a group of 2 families with 3 children looking for fall colors at Paradise before first snow. The Red Chalet was the perfect jumping off point to enter Mt Rainier from the Ashford entrance of Mt Rainier without a long drive (<5 mins). We were able to enter the park early and stay late given this fantastic proximity. The house was cozy and just right for a hiking vacation. The kids could watch a move in the other room while the adults played a board game. We did find several dirty dishes from a previous guest that had been put back in the cupboards without the owners knowledge, and the hot tub was out of order. But the owners did their best to have it repaired for our stay, and approved early check in and late check out.

Mt. Rainier Magic
Lovely little house very close to Mt. Rainier. Went into park either very late or very early and avoided the traffic. Games and play spaces for the kids, a TV room for Grandpa and plenty of yard space for reading, stick collecting, and quiet contemplation with morning coffee. Couldn’t hear the neighbors, little road traffic and even had a black tail doe walk through the yard. Absolutely delightful and of course very clean and comfortable.

Perfect Rainier Cabin
We loved our stay here and how close it was to the entrance of Rainier, we wished we had booked more days here. There was so much room for our family of 5. Everything was clean, the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare meals and then some. And the hot tub was awesome after a day of hiking.

Very quiet and relaxing.
Plenty of room for 2 full familys of 5 to relax and spread out. We did get a crazy thunderstorm on our second day but it was cool have a reason to stay inside for a portion of our trip. Spa was in great condition and parking was ample. Really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to book again.

What an awesome cabin!
Everything was so cozy and comfortable - even the beds. Everyone slept well in the comfortable rooms (we didn't need them, but the beds even have electric blankets on them!). So much thought has gone into all the amenities - spices even! Beautiful red dishes, nice cutlery, great refrig and freezer - even a washer and dryer. The property has such great spaces - to luxuriate in the hot tub, sit around a campfire, BBQ outdoors, enjoy the beauty when relaxing on the front porch! The river isn't too far, altho some of our party couldn't get there because of a walker and a wheelchair, but others really enjoyed it. Overall we would definitely go there again - very comfortable and so serene (except for the woodpecker one morning at 6 am - lol!). Beautiful!

Great cabin , fit our family very well. The national park is literally around the corner. Cell service is non existent there. If you went down the road you could get enough bars to send a text message . Highly recommend this place
