DO NOT STAY!!! DISGUSTING & UNHEALTHY!! If i could choose 0, i would have!! This was the dirtiest room i have ever been in! 2 blood spots on comforter, old blood stain on sheets, hair & skin flakes in sheets, lots of hair in sheets, hair/dust/ants around the corners of the walls, & some weird yellow dripping streaks under the table. I pictures of it all if you want to see my google review!! We ended sleeping on top of the comforter in our clothes (with hoods ups) since we arrived late at night and everywhere else was booked. Sure, its old, furniture isnt great, the tv/dvd situation didnt work.. i can overlook that but to be in an unclean unhealthy situation, i can not! They also were not willing to refund us for the next night and offered us another room lol. No way! We booked a new place down the road for the following night.

The property was so big for 2 people. May not be a modern room but it’s very spacious & has the basic necessities needed..microwave, red & tv. Worth the $ paid for and the convenient of being so closed to the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park.

This place has lousy Internet service and bad TV service no channel the room is ancient and very small and it tilts more than two or 3 inches. They have wooden blocks under the bed to level it.

We stayed in one of the cottages. The box spring on the bed was broken causing the mattress to sag badly in the middle. Management seemed unconcerned when we told them about it. It was very clean other than the mushrooms growing from the baseboards. I know it's hard to believe, but yes, mushrooms were growing from around the baseboards in multiple locations presumably from the excess amounts of moisture present in the "cottage". The location is very convenient for visiting Mt. Ranier but I would still never stay here again.

Stayed in premium cabin 26 and I really appreciated the layout and modern design of it. It appears to be remodeled or new with thoughtful storage and functional furniture. wifi signal was strong and tv channel has fire tv prime video and more. The mini fridge though was not cooling enough and for THE PRICE I paid, the CLEANING could be better-Lots of hair even in the fridge and floor was not vacuumed well. The microwave was dirty with food splatter.There’s a dingy rug that is way better out the room as the floors were beautiful and new. It ruined the cabin experience. I feel bad for the cleaning ladies as they struggle to bring all their cleaning stuff to clean each cabin. They need better caddy or the owner should provide cleaning trolley to make cleaning efficient. The bedsheets were not skin friendly. Located by the main road but it’s still quiet at night as the Cabin itself is surrounded by pine trees. Location is perfect, it’s the first accommodation after the NP sign.

The only positive is how close you are to the Mt. Rainier entrance. The bedding was dirty, had period blood, mattress looked like it was passed down from WWI. WiFi was awful. The TV remote had a mind of its own. The other positive is that this is the perfect place for watching horror films.

This was an okay at best property, the property was very dirty with broken window shades, bath tub was unsafe and crackling with every movement and spider webs everywhere inside the hotel room. The owners room was directly above ours and they woke up at 5am and were stomping around for hours not letting us sleep

We wanted a getaway where we could be unplugged in nature and that’s exactly what we got with this cabin! We had a great time gathered around the fireplace with our family telling stories and talking. We fell asleep to the sound of rain and a crackling fire, so relaxing. If you’re looking for a place where you can stare at a screen, this probably is not the place for you.. the WiFi didn’t reach us and we couldn’t get phone signal or data in the area. For us, that was perfect. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were friendly and the area was gorgeous. It was so nice being mere footsteps from the national park, it made for a wonderful morning walk to start the day. Would absolutely stay here again if we found ourselves in the area!

Gateway Inn is very close to the entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. The room/cabin was not clean or comfortable and I cannot recommend it to other guests.
