Great stay
Everything was great, and plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and one toddler. Communication with the host was very easy, and everything was in place that we needed. There were many touches that make it clear they want you to feel comfortable and at home. Looking forward to visiting again in the summer to take advantage of the lake

Fall in Ashford
We had a great time. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night. We cooked out steaks one night. The house had items that you normally don't see in a rental such as paper plates, coffee, storage bags, etc. All of this came in handy.

Overall, we rated this property much lower than others we have stayed in based on 3 things; The exterior (deck) was not all that well maintained, a large wasp nest underneath went undetected and after a sting we were not able to use it for the remainder of the stay. Also, there are weeds growing out of the gutters. Bathrooms - not all that nice (the main bath upstairs). Location - not that convenient to the lake - the properties around it all say no trespassing, so we did not feel all that comfortable as to where you can access it and the beach area, while close, is still a bit of a haul for the equipment. It is overpriced in our opinion. We had good communication with the host leading up to the visit and after the visit - just not during the visit who assured us the wasp nest would be taken care of for the next guest. The upstairs TV room was nice and had a nice view of the lake across the road.

Perfect stay at the lake!
Joseph was super communicative and always available if we had any questions! The house is beautiful, even better in person! We traveled with 6 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us. The lake is very accessible, and the neighbors are all very friendly. Thank you so much Joseph! We had a great July fourth weekend!!
