We stayed here for an overnight before heading to the channel tunnel. We had bar food which was good but left before breakfast. The room was big and the bath towels were fluffy! Great parking too. All good and I’d use again

Overnight stop. Lovely old coaching house type hotel/pub/ restaurant with beautiful garden area. Big spacious room and comfortable beds. Few creaky floorboards but in a property that old just what you would expect, adds to the character. Would stay here again.

The hotel overall is fine. Its in need of outside maintenance like painting outside very shabby and windows rotting The tv in the room was too small for ghe size of the room and the windows lolled likevthey havent been cleaned for years.

Hands down the best place to stay in the area. Maybe within 50 miles. I travel from Switzerland every couple of weeks and The Conningbrook is always the first place I book on my entire trip. George and his team are very friendly, helpful and courteous. AAA clean beds, good hot showers and bespoke teas and coffees in the room. Great place. A thanks Rikky

All fine. Restaurant had several items missing from the menu at the beginning of the evening. Staff were trained for the bar. The room was a bit tired looking, but functional and clean. The bed was comfortable.
