Very disappointing
First sent to room that housekeeping still preparing Second room had a questionable wet patch on the carpet. Used bath mat to cover and reported to reception next morning. As it was a 2 night stay expected some service to the room but when I returned it was the same as I had left it in the morning. I asked at reception and apparently the bin should have been emptied and coffee tray refreshed. This hadn’t happened. I asked for clean towels and an extra bath mat for the wet carpet, these were brought by a member of the housekeeping team who was actually quite rude in manner. I mentioned the wet carpet and she said she didn’t know about it and report it to reception. I did explain I had done so twice. Village Hotels are not my preferred choice due to previous experiences but sometimes needs must when travelling for work. It will remain a chain of last resort in the future.

The property was okay, nothing spectacular, but effective, I was only there for two days and I was barely in there, the bar area was very noisy, but the location was fantastic for all the itineraries I had plan, the location in my opinion was the best thing in regards to the property, I will probably try somewhere else the next time I am in Manchester.

Good hotel. Might be silly but the only thing that I didn’t like was the tv wasn’t smart and we couldn’t connect to Netflix. Wall plugs not smart also would be great to have those facilities

Room service only changed the towels. Left bed unmade, bin wasn't emptied and didnt supply any new coffee / tea. I would have got a better service if i had checked out and back in.
